3:53 Speaking of that series, he actually did a Chuck E. Cheese's one before, and the location in that video was in Houston TX near Memorial Dr. That location closed in 2012 as they relocated, the old location was eventually demolished for Mattress One. The mattress store then closed in 2019 and is now a Frost Bank as of 2021.
However, there is actually an abandoned Chuck E Cheese's in Houston TX near FM 1960. But It's obviously not gonna happen as Wallie is never gonna visit Houston.

Jack's which is based in San Diego where I live . They had a bout with e-coli back in the 90's but they've cleaned up their act and seems to be doing pretty good . Unlike Chipotle . Their food is frankly average . the best items in my opinon are the ultimate bacon cheese burger curly fries and also they have a pretty good spicy crispy chicken sandwich . their milk shakes are good quality also.

I love Jack in the Box! The car I drove in my 20s had a Jack head on the antenna. The town I lived in at the time didn't have a JitB, so anytime I went to DFW, Austin, or Houston, I insisted on stopping there.
But yes...it is very much an acquired taste. I like it, but I know a lot of people who think it's complete trash!
I used to eat there on occasion, but haven't in quite a long time. The last time I ate at one was when we were remodeling our kitchen and had been working nonstop and realized at around 10:00PM one Saturday night we hadn't eaten and were hungry so we got burgers from there since they have a 24hour drive thru. I think the food is just mediocre while my wife thinks it's terrible.
We had a Jack In The Box here in Upstate NY but they got shut down by the city because they were caught selling bad meat and people were getting sick from it.

We had an abandoned Jack in the Box here for several years, but it has since been torn down. The company opened several here in the 1990s, and only 2 have closed. Jack in the Box burgers and other items are mediocre at best, but the real ice cream shakes aren't too bad. Common nicknames for the restaurant are Junk in the Box or Jack in the Crack. This restaurant is more generic looking than the ones in my area so it could easily be repurposed as something else. Anyway, thanks for the video.

I know exactly where this location is. I wondered why they closed in the first place . The restaurant next to it Panda Express and the Chicken Express down the road are the ones that actually need to close.

Wallie, for mattresses, at least in my area, those as well as other items that won't fit in a can are considered a special pick up. Garbage companies charge for the special pick up. If you are on city/county garbage service, there is no charge though... I, like most in my area, are not on city garbage service.

@Kile Bogart There was a JitB in Bartow, Florida in 1975/1976. Nearby was a Royal Caste. It was across from the Bartow Mall.

I used to live in Texas and I never had a desire to try Jack in the Box. I was always a Whataburger guy. I may try Jack in the Box one day when I'm in Nashville. It's only 2 1/2 hours from where I live Northern Alabama
Whataburger fucking sucks big time. I do not like whataburger
The weather is supposed to be cooler the rest of the week in DFW. Enjoy if you are still there.
This location was HORRIBLE! The staff was HORRIBLE! The food was HORRIBLE as well. I don't miss this Jack at all!!! 👎🏼

Been watching your videos for awhile. I found them through That Guy Nate here on you tube. I have been to Jack in the Box a couple of times myself. I enjoyed the burgers I had. You should at least try them once like you said. Only if you do try Jack in the Box, I would love to see a first taste review video by you. Jack in the box is bearable but definitely not the best, all though they do have great breakfast sandwiches in my opinion, there burgers just seem to get smaller by the year

That Jack in the Box is actually in Fort Worth not Arlington. If you go a half mile East or south you’ll be in Arlington.
Too little customers and it is in a bad area of East Fort Worth. And a lot of crime fights and thefts. And recently a shooting.

There are a lot of Jack in the Box restaurants closing up in Houston. I live close to two of them.

@@rp1430 Several in the area. The one in Mission Bend closed and also one on Hwy 6 near Sugar Land. I also spotted one on the far north side up on 1960 that has also been boarded up.

OMG that is the truth on the nasty food....i got my son and his 4 friends their tacos it stunk my truck up for a soild week but they have rock stell tummy to eat those and live to talk abt them....that was in bridge city texas and now its hamburger depot 🥰

You are not missing anything by not ever having Jack In The BOX... They used to be busy when they 1st came to K.C.... Now all are slow I dont know how any of them stay in business .... they are always slow ( business wise ) yet all say now hiring I dont get it at all ......
