Also did the Camino in 2016 starting ANZAC day, April 26th. I didn't do the middle 170 klms due to shin splints which I thought woundn't heal but they did. So I managed to bus it to Sarria and easily did the last 110 klms. I got them from doing four 35km days in a row. My son was so impressed he talked me into doing it 2017 August ....So we're very excited and obsessed with the planning and the thought of spending a month together on this adventure. As a 64 y o I wont be overdoing it just because I was feeling fitter than I'd ever felt. I loved this film. Thanks. Michele/Miki
It is good to praise the lord always.. worship God for what his abt to do in ur life. Apreciate him for. what he has done in ur life...do not eat his Testimonies. Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable y cada vez ha sido única e irrepetible, pero a diferencia de los otros caminos, se podría decir, que el Camino Sanabrés era más solitario. No por ello deja de ser encantador. Yo también he colgado un video en mi canal donde quizás te haga recordar tu experiencia vivida.
Great video, I hope I'll do the camino one day with my daughter (she is only 6 months old for now). Great choice of pics and music. I also felt some pride being a Spaniard. You guys are so likeable. All the best
9.11: Filling up a bottle of wine at Irache is greedy and selfish. As it says on the sign: there is a limited daily supply. Take just a sip and leave the rest for the many others who come after you.
For your information, the bottle was only filled with about 1/4 cup of the wine and shared between the two of us. But thanks for your misplaced concern rush to judgment

Now in portuguese, because I don't speak English (Do you remember in Pamplona?). Nos encontramos diversas vezes no Caminho , uma das quais, você e sua filha impediram que eu tomasse uma estrada errada. Fiquei muito grato por isso e tirei diversas fotos suas. Ficamos em camas lado a lado em Pamplona (lembra??). Encontrei sua filha sozinha, creio que em Leon. Ela me disse que você teria ficado descansando no quarto. Eu apareço neste seu filme no minuto 14:44, de óculos, limpando a boca com guardanapo. Pretendo refazer o caminho completo outra vez em maio de 2021. Um grande abraço.
É claro que eu me lembro de você com muitas lembranças boas. Nós sempre gostei quando nos encontramos com você e desejamos que poderia ter se comunicado melhor. Você era uma alegria para nós e cada vez que se encontrariam, minha filha e eu sempre sorrir. Espero que você esteja bem meu amigo e talvez um dia nos encontraremos novamente. I assure you that I have nothing but the utmost respect for my Lord and Savior. In my opinion, it is the accusatory attitude and the judgmentalism displayed in your comment that turns so many people away from Christianity in todays day and time. Let God be the judge of the level of my respect.
I am not talking about you specifically but all the other tourists who do it all the time everywhere and do not enjoy the experience. Where is the sacred space but I am not a christian so i see it in nature instead.
Interesting Melanie that we humans can open our eyes in a church, a mosque or any sacred place and keep the memory in our minds eye, but we are not allowed to keep this image on film? Couldn't both offend the sanctity?

I loved seeing father daughter duos!! I would have loved to have. Shared my Camino with my Dad buys not in good enough shape to walk that far!

There are worse things a person could do in a Catholic church than using a video camera as was demonstrated recently in a Catholic church in France.
