Today we're doing a makeover of 170 Main Street, Dina and Nina Caliente's lot. I'm remodeling their small, two-bedroom condo into a colorful modern home perfect for the two sisters. 👭🏡
I give Dina Caliente the bedroom she deserves, while Nina Caliente gets a workout nook in her love shack :D I even give Michael Bachelor's urn its own little resting spot in the living room. 🥺
Once again, my plan is to start a Let's Play series with a large sims 2 uberhood full of all sorts of uncommon couples and storylines.

I am not a huge fan of CC, I don't use any in my game but you choose some really cool and fitting for sims 2. I spend years in sims 2 and watching you playing like this make me feel so good. I though people would forget about sims 2 but glad I can watch you in 2024 bringing back my old memories. you are very cool person
Ha, thank you, what a kind comment! 🥰 I try to stick to mostly maxis matchy CC, it just makes the game look better overall when it's all in a similar art style. And I don't think I will ever get tired of playing ts2! I've been playing the game since release and even after taking a break every now and again I always come back. 💕
OMG Dina eating her feelings is so terribly sad and funny at the same time. She wanted to snatch Mortimer right away but that plan failed.
She rushed him too much, he wasn't ready for an engagement yet 😬

You are SO GOOD at redesigning the homes! I love that you keep the original structure as much as possible and modernize it at the same time! Building and decorating seem to come so natural to you!
Poor Dina .. I'm curious as to what her options are going to be in the future ..

i love seeing how people play the sims, i always put Dina has having the leopard prints, and Nina with the blue, I never thought it would be the other way! so interesting :)
wait but you're right, Dina would be a leopard print girlie :D I just went with more of a wannabe posh Barbie approach

Haha the floor elevation talk really brings me back. I remember how proud I was when I managed to build a house that was built into a hill with a basement level that opened out onto the beach on one of the lots from bon voyage
hahha that actually sounds great *-* beach lots can be a nightmare to build on tbh, but you can do amazing things with them too!
Loving the industrial vibe to this build! Its nice how you kept the overall exterior shape the same but added your own twist,,, i don't have the same self control 😭

If you're doing an uberhood, there's Morty Roth from Riverblossom! He's married, but his wife is not happy and they start the game with a low relationship. I usually have them divorce. The Roth family is a call-back to the Goth family, incidentally lol. That would be a fun pairing.
The Roths are such an interesting family! I'm still unsure if I want to add Riverblossom Hills to the uberhood too because it'll take us like a year's worth of videos to go through a whole rotation 😅 But he is a good option for Dina

Also, I think they have 1 really sad room, is because Dina is supposed to marry Morti and either they (Dina and Morti) stay or Nina stay in the house.

I've barely pressed play and there's already drama in Pleasantview 😅 Since Mortimer Goth is not an option anymore, which other rich sim should Dina marry? 👀
Isn't Daniel pleasant very high up in his career? Would he be an option? Haven't seen that happening too often .. I read that you're planning to play an Uberhood? There's another rich sim (a blonde one), of course I forgot his name xD He would be my No. 2 option behind Daniel xD GOOD LUCK!
@@xXstubsiXx Malcolm Landgraab might be the blonde rich sim and yes, he's got a lot of money. I'll have to check on Daniel soon, he did pass my the house and Nina was swooning over him :D

How and why did Dina start the fight with Mortimer?! That's crazy.
Well, I have a few ideas for Dina's potential rich partner:
Consort Capp - sure, he has his granddaughters and grandson with him, but the three of them are nearing college age by now.
Carlos Contender - Level 10 Hall of Famer making lots of money. How can Dina say no to that?
Luis Aspir - He's a rich city planner. Sure, he may live with his son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter, but still.
Malcolm Landgrabb - He's closer to her age bracket but the Landgraabs are rivals with the Goths, so... revenge?
In my own hood, Dina got with Malcolm and Dina's enjoying bossing people around. She's very careful not to run into the Goths again because she knows that they had dug up her dark secrets. Nina meanwhile had to run away along with Don because, again, she was caught out red handed in the Bella Goth case. She's still secretly seeing other men, Parker Langerak (recreation from the Sims 3; Sunset Valley), Abhijeet Cho (Circe's townie friend from Strangetown), Geoff Rutherford and Gilbert Jacquet.
I have a mod that allows sims to autonomously propose engagement/go steady, and she decided she should try it on Mortimer when he visited the lot... didn't work out.
And I'm loving the ideas for Dina's potential partners. Maybe she can test her chemistry with all of them 👀

Genuine question: How did you know which room is for Dina an which one is for Nina? Because I always thought that sad little room is for Nina :D

None! I don't use reshade :D I installed it after recording this video but I'll probably only use it for screenshots. I haven't edited the settings of the recording either. The game just do be beautiful like that 😻🔥
idk if you'll see this but if your able could u plz tell me where u got the wall covering u used for the outside bit of the build? the metal stripe looking one? and the one u used for ninas room? i looked everywhere but couldnt find anything like them lol

I would recommend to downolad LordCrumps' "Every 4t2 Bed" set because it comes with default replacements for bedding and the new cheetah pattern bedding looks much nicer and it would fit this build better.
I was wondering if no sink in the kitchen was intentional or an oversight?
