- June is Pride Month, a time for acknowledging and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community across the world. It’s surely a worthy cause, but Piers Morgan has a question to ask; Why do the LGBTQ+ community enjoy an entire month of events and attention, while other minority groups usually only get a day?
To discuss, Piers brings collegiate athlete and author Riley Gaines, journalist Ernest Owens, LGBTQ+ comedian James Barr and columnist Esther Krakue together on Uncensored. James and Ernest furiously defend Pride month, and argue that people like Piers are actually a reason it’s necessary. Riley comes at the discussion from a different angle, saying that deference to LGBTQ+ activism is leading to unfairness and a lack of opportunity in women’s sports.

@Silencedfixer Myself and most of my gay friends grew up with our fathers at home, love our fathers and have remained close with our fathers throughout our lives. Many of my Christian gay friends grew up with their father in the house and were disowned and put out on the street by their parents after they came out and refused to want to be "healed."

For the same reason women with PCOS aren't getting to compete with women. Because no one cares about what trans men do and this has never been a conversation about improving women's sports. It's about fear mongering over trans women in sports the exact same way the media used "unfair biological advantages" as an excuse to exclude black men from white sports teams.
Naturally creating extra testosterone in the body when you have two X chromosomes is at this point a very well researched condition as well as the extremely shitty side effects of the medications that usually treat it and make the conditions worse and that's including Spironolactone. If we're defining the reason for excluding trans women well established on HRT from playing as "unfair biological advantage because of the Y chromosome" then we shouldn't be excluding women with high T counts that have documented PCOS at all and just focusing on the fairness of no performance enhancers.

I had one guy friend in 8 th grade that was gay.. this was in the '70s. We knew he was but just didn't treat him any way other than our friend. We were 21 he sat me down at a Holiday Inn and finally came out to me. I shocked him when I told him I already knew as did our group of friends. His sisters were gorgeous. They said he was better looking than they were. Only look inside a person. I do disagree with the gender affirming care to children. Sorry so long winded.

YES. I asked my doc if I can change my race on my med record. I explained I feel funky at times and so I must be black. She answered sure. So yes, I did change my race in my medical records from white to black. For real. I think the doc was as amused as I was. It’s also a statement on how unserious I am about America’s healthcare systems.

30 years ago, pride meant something very different. We actually wanted simple equal rights. I wanted the right to put my partner on my health insurance at work. To be allowed in the preop and postoperative areas after her major surgery. I wanted her listed as my next of kin. I wanted to go to work and not be terrified if I slipped and said something about our relationship that I’d be fired. Simple. I expected nothing from anyone other than equality. Now? I want NOTHING to do with today’s LGBTQ+ “community”. I will not be compelled to say particular pronouns. I don’t need a celebration. Men are not women. Having men in women’s spaces is dangerous for women. Minors can not consent to GAC. I fully support trans people who want to live as the other gender. I just don’t want it to impact the rights of those around them.

In today's world, it seems like if I don't acknowledge a trans person and actually take them into my life enough to know how they want to be called, I'm an asshole, transphobic, etc human.
The truth is, I don't care enough about 99.9% of the world to do that. It's not that I'm transphobic, I just don't want every person I meet to need an interaction longer than thank you, sir or madam.
When I grew up, that was a term of respect. I hate how it's been twisted to be something horrible now. Most of the time, I don't even look long enough to even notice much besides an outward appearance. I'm not trying to assume anything, but when a man is a full-blown man, I call them sir. There's never disrespect intended.
If people switch back and forth from feeling male and female ( some do it all the time depending on mood ), how am I supposed to know.
Also, they/them I'll never understand. It feels like I'm segregating a group to a certain term. Much like the outrage when people say " You people". Not to mention, if it's an individual and not a group, they/them is never a term that would come to mind.
Anyways, after the rant, lol.

I'm a big ol gay who spent literally 20 years deeply embedded in multiple gay scenes across the country. I started to notice that straight people were being welcomed in as "queer" around 2017/2018. I lived with a TW during lockdown who told me that trans people experience the same pains as Women do, in response to me saying my Mother had her life ruined by a hystorectomy. Said TW said they experience pain every day in being misgendered or disrespected. It was in that moment I knew it was a crock of shit and I haven't stepped foot in the "community" since.
Once upon a time in the dim and distant past people were taught that their "pain" wasn't real pain. They came to appreciate that things weren't too bad. Now everyone's a victim of something and leftist "be nice and validate me" plus talk media are to blame (they make money from people rubber necking said victims and viewers seek validation in their own victimhood). That is - this culture has been created by a focus on the individual.
