Not as good now, but 4 inch groups at 15 yds is not bad. 8" to 10" with this one Ruger. Factory said only meant for around 7 yds to hit a chest, or words to that effect. Also, my CZ optics ready model with night sights was the exact same price as my dagger that has a threaded barrel, RMR cut and slide cuts. Just looking at them side by side and taken apart you can see that the CZ was built better with better materials. If the texture on the CZ is too rough for you you can sand it down or wrap it. It's a shame that beretta stopped making their APX line with the A0 slide serrations. You could stick your hands in a puddle of grease and still get a solid grab on that slide. Awesome video, and I take alot of value in the fact you listed the APX on your list.

I just bought my second Ruger Security-9 on sale for $300. I saw your 1K review & I know you’re not a huge fan of some of the modern Ruger handguns but the Security-9 is an exceptional value. I’ve taken it apart down to every pin & spring (it’s a very easy gun to maintain & disassemble), I’ve never had a failure with mine, & I just love the dang thing. I can see where the trigger could take some getting used to but Galloway Precision makes an easy to install upgrade kit for about $50. Kinda bummed it didn’t make the list but still love the video. Also love my TX22, that thing is amazing 💪💪💪

I have 2 Taurus G3 9mm pistols, 1 G2C 9mm, and 1 856 Defender 3". I put TruGlo Professional sights (tritium/fiber optic) on the G3s and the Ameriglo tritium sights on the G2C. The 856 Defender came with a tritium front sight. Yeah, the tritium sights took the G3s over $350.00, but they were worth it. All of them have functioned flawlessly. Today, due to some back problems related to sciatica and spinal stenosis, I am wearing the 856 in a 1791 holster and do not feel like I'm undressed.

the APX was my first handgun and honestly I loved so much about it, I could make it full sized or subcompact super easily by moving the firing system into a different frame so could have it be my car gun for long trips and bring my concealed carry parts for when I was out and about. The only issue was holsters were a pain to find.

Ruger Security 9 (standard or compact) should absolutely be on this list of considerations, as should the Canik TP9DA (the one with the Walther P99AS mechanics) and the SAR9, and the AREX Delta M. Even the Ruger American Pistol can occasionally be found for $350 or less and that's a very underrated and under-appreciated pistol.

There is a lot of competition in the 9mm market segment in that size as shown by other 9mm that made the list. There is not a lot competition in the 380 market in that size. S&W 380 EZ and maybe P365 380. The list was not top 9mm handguns under $350 so what would make the list in other calibers.

I have one of the first Tactical Toblerone Centurion’s and have a number of different grip modules. Beretta obviously has grip modules in all the colors and then Toni Systems have a myriad of alternative performance parts. I’ve also bought a full size grip module, and cut the dust cover shorter with a bandsaw, after that polished the edge with a buffing wheel to smooth it out and now also have a full size, short barrel, long grip APX “Centurion-X”.
