Great time to be a comic fan. From 1991-1997 xmen comics couldnt be beat
I missed that...but not the fox series!
I live AoA. It was bloated but sure was fun
@@jjdillon1207 I thought Cyclops, Evil Beast, & Mr Sinister had such awesome designs in AoA.
I'd Actually Say 83-97.
@@CarlyCatharsis fair
Senator Kelly: “Are...are you a m-m-mutant?”
Apocalypse: “I am as far beyond them as they are beyond you.”
Graydon Creed is actually the one who said "You're a mutant!?" To Apocalypse.
SHENRON REAPER, OK, thanks.
Graydon Creed is the son of Sabretooth(who is the main villain of Wolverine)
"Iam the rocks of eternal shores. Crash upon me and be broken!
I am far beyond mutants as they are beyond you!!!!
The coolest was seeing an Iceman who actually doesn't hold back.
Ty The Detailer I think it was before this that Emma showed what he could really do.
I think this built on that.
When I hear Apocalypse I hear the voice from the animated series
Yes!
Ohhh y'all aren't gonna bring up Magneto ripping Apocalypse in Half or Wolverine's wrist stub popping claws out huh?? Oh OhKay then....
Magneto ripping out Wolverine’s skeleton isn’t in AOA it’s in the main universe during Fatal Attractions
@@wheattoast1971 And it was surprisingly adapted for the 97 series!
This scene also is the birth of Onslaught
@@Koraxus I’m hoping Onslaught still plays a role in Seasons 2 or 3
@@wheattoast1971 There was another scene which depicts a radio at a station which shows the date Onslaught first appeared
@@wheattoast1971that’s not what they were talking about. They were talking about to separate events in AoA. Nothing about Magneto removing Wolverine’s adamantium.
The AoA version of Sabertooth was super popular, I was surprised he didn’t make the jump to 616 at the time.
He did, he was in Exiles with Blink.
They did try a redemption arc for Sabretooth after AoA, but he got back to his wicked ways (as he should). But yeah, AoA Sabretooth was amazing (especially his connection with Blink, making them the AoA version of Wolverine and Jubilee).
My favorite story line. Also featured art work from Joe Madureira 👏🏻
I’m not a clapper so stop clapping at me
Season 2 of Wolverine and the x-men would of been great.
3:02 Blink was a female for goodness sake...
Tommy Frog it’s Ma’am !!!
She didn't even say Genosha correctly either so they just want a paycheck by the looks of it
Blink is pretty awesome I mean her powers is summoning portals anywhere(well not anywhere really any place across the world that she’s on)
Psylocke was in age of apocalypse. She was part of the human council as Betty braddock
Weren't she and Emma both on there? Something about any telepath that was caught by humans was forced to have a lobotomy that removed their telepathic abilities, but made them effectively human. Hence, some humans having heads that looked like portions of their hair had been permanently shaved off.
Age of Apocalypse was what got me into Marvel Comics. Not to say I wasn't familiar with the X-Men since I watched the 90's cartoon, and Spider-Man and his amazing friends years before. But I think Gambit and the X-ternals was the first one I actually read, and then I had to read them all.
It was an amazing year for the xmen .
I liked this series a lot. Best things in there was Sunfire (sooooo badass), Morph, Blink and her mentee relationship w/ Sabertooth, and Rogue.
Please make more AoA videos!!!!! This is my favorite X-Men storyline.
They should have brought Abyss into the 616 universe, like they did with X-Man Nate Gray and Sugar Man. Hated Sugar Man so much.
It would have been a REAL trip to see Abyss take on his 616 counter part, Nils Steiger (Also, called Abyss - albeit one slowly dying from the Legacy Virus.)
Also, he would've made for a MUCH better "behind the scenes Villain as regards Genosha and the whole Mutate Bonding Process. (It would also have been FAR more of a challenge for Mr. Sinister to put him down...)
Abyss has a 616 counterpart and he made his first appearance in Cable and later we learn that he is Nightcrawler's half brother.
I meant the AoA version. His design and his personality was 1 of the main reason why I got into the storyline. His interaction with Quicksilver, Storm and Banshee really made me appreciate them as characters even more. He was torturing kids for his amusement.
@@anthonyencinias287 he was on a team battling gen-x too if i remember correctly. its been so long though...
The fact AoA has not been turned into an animated movie, is a crime against humanity.
AoA is one of my favourite X-Men stories EVER!
I think the strangest thing from when I read the comic for the first time was that Sabretooth wasn't a murderous psychopath, instead leading his own group and mentoring Blink.
Hello guys! It’s been a while! Lol great content and info!!! I have always loved the story arc of The Age of Apocalypse. A big Weapon X fan 😉
AoA was the series that cemented Magneto as my fave Marvel character
I Fell Sorry For Gambit
9:27 It's Genosha not "Ganesha" smh
Agree, kids reading skills these days....next they’ll be saying Axe-Men instead of X-Men
Yeah. I know gatekeeping doesn't help anything but man that bothered the hell out of me.
Thst would be a great story to bring to the big screen.
Your avatar, is that the glow-in -the-dark ghost rider cover? My god, that was a beautiful thing
@@starfirescreamere5317 yes it is. My little brother had the actual ghostrider comic.
It would be cool as a series
They did a 2 part variation in the X-Men Animated series in the 90's. It was, okay.
It would be as dark as Justice League Dark Apokolips War I mean that whole animated movie was gruesome and dark
Such great artwork too!
Its wild to think that the card is the only officiall illustration of weapon x and cyclops fight
Great narration!
Whoa, nearly every vid I begged for has been made...SWEET!
Surprised the x-force story arc wasn't mentioned
If they do more AoA videos, they will include that storyline. Could only do 10 at a time.
@@Hiphop4life7083 true but it's almost as if they focus too much on incest.
Okay. You now have the best video in history. 0:00 in and LOVE IT!
czcams.com/video/t7Re6SNCflY/video.html
You forgot about Nightcrawler from Age of Apocalypse coming in six one six
Uncanny x-force, that series was epic
7:54 i remember having that trading card!!!!
age of apocalypse storyline was an amazing read deff one of the much better story arcs
X-Men fan more content please. Nice hoodie
I love Age of Apocalypse. Do more, please.
czcams.com/video/t7Re6SNCflY/video.html
Poor AoA Corsair and the Starjammers. They manage to escape the Shi'ar only to be found by another far nastier alien brood.
That is such a cool hoodie
Cyclops actually became cyclops😂😂😂
On your next video can you talk about top 10 alternate version of the lizard please
I love that story !
It's definitely my favorite, it should have lasted across all marvel titles in 95' and lasted a year!
Age of apocalypse is a great storyline
Some people think that's where DC got the ideal for FlashPoint.
Really I didn't know that flashpoint is a good storyline
Sabretooth also survived after the end AoA. He led a mercenary group, which was a alternate version of Blink's Exiles team
The Age of Apocalypse was an awesome elsewhere storyline. Rogue deserves some loving.
Agreed when it comes to Rogue. But this was a comic I've never read. But form what I'm guessing it must have been epic.
Broken Bridge if time permits you it’s a good read 👍
@@Sunstar808----😊
@@Sunstar808---Hey do you have a twitter account?
Broken Bridge I do but rarely use it 😂
Age of Apocalypse is beautifully written and in art, thanks for this fact, and now we know where Beau de Mayo got the idea to par Rogue and Magnus
Make a video about Dark Beast! I find him oddly fascinating
I was in my hayday comic age during age of apocalypse. To finally see Logan and Jean gray together was awesome.
AoA Iceman is my favorite version of Iceman.
Yuu Kajuji yes! He is much more intimidating.
a spin-off of age of apocalypse could be made in the x-men 97 series
This is my favorite storyline
Strangest moment, maybe Apocalypse having a son (Holocaust) but probably Magneto and Rogue having a child.
I was so into this series when it came out.
Come on, Gambit found love with Lila Chenney
Wolverine and the X-Men were going into it if they got a second season....I was soooooo mad it got cancelled
Definitely wasted potential
This is real hot mess of mispronunciations and incorrect ‘facts’
Love watching this now after XMen 97 finished up!
Here we are 4 years later in X-Men 97 we are at the age of apocalypse in the storyline
Please do one of X-Caliber comic series.
Do a top 10 horsemen of apocalypse list.
Emma Frost: Joined the human high council, and had her powers removed to avoid detection by the sentinels.
Didn't Nate Gray/X-man also survive AoA?
Earl Harris yes. He had a post AoA series, even. He was that popular.
Until no one cared and his character was kind of ruined.
Yes, she mentions him at 9:15
U got some things mixed up but good work
Psylocke is British and don't think AoA covered what was going on in Europe
I vaguely recall that AoA did. I think that they were either nuked or Europe was the headquarters of the humans. Plus most telepaths were taken out. I know Emma Frost herself was lobotomized.
Interesting that you mention this since the image they showed was of the Asian version of Psylocke.
If the X-Men didn’t experience the Siege Perilous, which is what lead to her ethnic conversion, why would she be a ninja in AoA?
Somebody dropped the ball (or only cared about the popular version).
She was called Betty braddock and was in the weapon x story lines
How about a Top 10 Things You Didn't Know About Swamp Thing's Relationship to The Rot
Apocalypse was always my favorite X-Men villain.
Kelly another lovely lady doing the Top 10 Nerd list
I loved the reveal of Logan’s claws in his amputated hand.
I don't remember that, in what series did that happen?
djsausagebiscuits Age of Apocalypse. Pierce was taunting him. I believe they were on the bombing run, but can’t be sure.
10 powers we didn’t know (DC) Monarch

💯 💯 💯
I'm surprised you didn't mention the resurgence of AoA during Uncanny X-Force or the Xiles books. You kinda did but some of those are pretty significant events.
I like your sweater is that from the bouncer video game.
Reminds me of cailo
Wow, for a consumate X-Men fan, you murdered the pronunciation of Genosha. Guh-nee-shah? I see how it happened too, flipped the first two vowels around, like vocal dyslexic moment. Aside from that, thank you for clearing up the Age of Apocalypse story arc for me as I'd stopped buying X-Men comics some time before this event.
Looking cute in that fresh snow white hoodie 😁
Kelly, Amanda and Sasha ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍
I don't see how a scary mutant named "the sugar man" came about. He is the worst.
I love you Kelly ❤️
Id love for marvel to give Apocalypse a power boost and make him a top tier villain again bc I love his character, history and existing powers
X men 97 Finna be lit
Watching as amy videos as I can that I've missed, TOP10 ANIMAL POWERED SUPERHEROES AND OR SUPERHEROES THAT ARE ANIMALS PLS KRYPTO NEEDS TO BE LOVED TOO
I still have my original copy of these from 1995.
Donal Smyth ditto. I’ve bought it in every single version/format I’ve ever found.
I’m kind of a fan.
Like the AOA story line as well as your new hairdo. You look younger.
Apocalypse is coming this year
Again?
@@vic5015 yes apocalypse of the 2nd great depression
@@AdolfoCardoza777
oh, you mean in the real world
Magneto sends bishop back in time undoing the timeline? Yeah I'm out
I wonder if the fact that Matt murdock was eight years old when Apocaypse attacked and Peter Parker was in the university was noticed by someone
Gambit never catch a break in his love life no matter which timeline
Imagine if they come out with an arcade game based on the age of apocalypse
It definitely should be a movie
Shorter hair Kelly ftw 🤙🏼
As always, they do cyclops dirty.
Diiiiiiiid the host just reference Blink, then say “he”?
I love the age of Apocalypse I thought it was great
I wish they would do this story line.
Update: iceman, blob, and Nightcrawler also escaped in Uncanny Xforce. Nightcrawler end up defeating iceman and blob in the best way possible
👀H, Kelly 💕
W-O-W 💘
Thanks for hosting the show. 🥰
Where is Animal in the old timeline? He was awesome
I still have some issues from the series. There was also a series involving Marvels main characters.
Top 10 shocking powers you didn’t know Daken has.
Gambit kills a psychopathic Colossus? 😳......😄.
I'm a huge fan of Gambit(fellow Cajun☺), and a big fan of a non-psychopathic Colossus, but it is cool to know that, if need be, Gambit is capable of taking down someone like that☺.
Yeah that surprised me when i read that. It was due to a precise hit.
Did you call Blink a dude?
Looks like I'm not the only one who heard that. Also, Genosha is pronounced "Jin-OH-sh-Uh", at least in the 90s animated series it is.
@@wallbiewtf9422 right lol like wtf
9:28 is she saying Genosha weird?
In the 616 Mags and rogue had a thing before she ever met gambit
Overtaxed drawing by liefeld.
Please do sugar man
I wish the MCU would do the AoA
