Are the black plastic valves you see on RVs still a gate valve ?

@@Thisday2564 I have been referring to them as valterra, knife valves but I’m not sure if that’s accurate
@@simplesepticsecrets that sounds like an RV valve. Another name for this is sluice gate valve. It must be opened manually. This is on an irrigation line.
