+Mia Walker it was syndicated. Which means it wasnt made for any specific network and was up to local affiliates to pick it up. the time and channel depended on where you lived. in my area i beleive it was on in the afternoon on channel 25-WFXT which was FOX. But its the local networks in this case (WFXT in Boston) that picked it up not the big broadcasts channels (CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX at that time), so it had nothing to do with FOX and in youre area it couldve been on ABC or a local channel that had no big broadcast affiliates
Miss it too Sheels1976 as well as the other shows that aired Sundays along with this such as The New Lassie, My Secret Identity and Munster's Today!!💁💕👌
I can´t believe Mr T showed up and he didnt get a roaring live audience sreaming or something. This show is amazing. Now i know why I always remembered it so fondly
I loved the American Dinner Style in the 80s with the Glass Bricks. Simpler times in thoses days too. No Phones, Facebook, I Pods, people talked face to face and made their own fun.
Most of the young people watching this at the time didn't know who Doug McClure was, but us older Virginian fans did. I've been a fan of his for 57 years and met his family at his induction Hall of Great Western Performers in Oklahoma City 5 years ago.
Classic TV. In the first 5 minutes we get a ding bat waiter hoping to get his own spinoff character and a new guy walks in and immediately begins looking into the corners of the restaurant admiring the decor so the main characters can talk about him while he is close enough to hear them. Classic comedy TV.
I wish...If I had Evie's power I would still have everyone frozen back on Christmas day 1995 when I got my own computer, a puppy, and my best friend got to move in while her mother settled into a new state...Best time of my life 😂😅
Yeah I agree I miss these show too back in the 80's when I was young too in el Paso tx. What happened to these cutie beautiful girl play as eve . I wish I was dating her. . hoping whoever have her better treat her well. Have good life.
This looks like a great show. I love my old shows from 70s n 80s n 90s why in the world I don't know this show.. Looks like a great show now n back then. If they xan only still make this kind of funny humor shows now.
A misconception everyone can hear the cube however only Troy aka the cube can hear and speak to Evie until season 2 when Evie made a birthday wish that her mom could speak to cube like she can!!😉❤👍
Why go to the trouble of establishing that The New Kid is a Serious East Coast Type only to have him IMMEDIATELY become a "Flakeball" exactly like Chris?
El Shylo : How is it that I can Find more episodes of Jerry Springer on UTube & so very few episodes of Out Of This World? ... Does NetFlix have It? NO? Does Hulu, Amazon Prime or any other such service provide Out of this World Services? Nope? ... Things that make 1 Go HMMM!
i wonder what happened to the actual Troy "Cube" prop? someone from the show has to own one. im sure they made more than one...i really would like to have one. if anyone knows where i can get one let me know....even a replica would be cool, id much rather have a actual prop though.
It’s almost like every saved by the bell, Disney teen show or Nickelodeon tv from the 90s used this formula. It’s almost like they used this for Alex Mack….. lol bewitched and I dream of genie mixed up for teens…. 😂
God it’s nuts how the audience used to laugh hysterically when Evie froze time.. Fingers - “bing!” - people simply standing there, frozen. ***HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH*** HOW was it even that funny?!
19:08 Such a simple time. It was funny, no big deal. Gay or not it was always present. No interviews, it wasn't brave or taking a stand. Oh! And no internet like now to point it out with a time stamp. Again, such a simple time. 🤭😂I couldn't help myself. Our country has changed demographic rise.
an earthlings a creature whose as plain as can be, not as unique as u or me they say his relatives were chimps an apes.............you could be swingin on a star........
I have fond memories of this show. I miss these days.
+Sheels1976 What station was it on in America
I remember this show to..
it's great..

Me too! Brings back lots of memories to my mind.
Miss it too Sheels1976 as well as the other shows that aired Sundays along with this such as The New Lassie, My Secret Identity and Munster's Today!!💁💕👌
it is utterly amazing how a song you forgot existed, can LITERALLY come back to your brain as if you've been singing it the last 30+ years every day
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swinging_on_a_Star
26 years later and I still love this show...
Such an under-rated show. Thank you so much for uploading this. So many great memories!

And don’t forget the neon. Don’t see that anymore either
Most of the young people watching this at the time didn't know who Doug McClure was, but us older Virginian fans did. I've been a fan of his for 57 years and met his family at his induction Hall of Great Western Performers in Oklahoma City 5 years ago.
I was a fan of Mr. McClure and, at the risk of giving away my age, I remember him from 'Overland Trail' and 'Checkmate' as well as 'The Virginian'.
This was a wonderful show at that time. I wish I had that kind of power.
I remember this show! Watching it gave me a glimpse of yesterday. I miss feeling like that.
Omg I forgot about that show! Watched it all the time! Anyone remember Small Wonder? (the robot girl)
I remember
Yes, it was next thing I looked up after finding this
Yes but Small Wonder was kind of creepy to me.
I used to like watching this program when I was so young. I still like it.
Oh... if I only had the power to go back to those days...
Haha! This is where I Feel in love with Steve Burton.
hes even hotter now than he was back then! On General Hospital forever
I always wished I could freeze time like Evie back then!
lumpyspacecadet to get crazy huh?
$1.95 for two shakes ?? Take me back 😭😭😭
this and small wonder were two of my favorite syndicated shows. and charles and charge, i think that was syndicated too.
erictainment all the Shows Kicked ass Back then!!!
yeah and mamas family lol; small wonder was a fox show - it was the first sitcom for FOX but yeah FOX used to play this and Charles in charge

This tune popped up in my head tonight. Here I am listening to it. These shows all seemed so innocent back then.
I Will Always Love You, Lady Maureen Flannigan, as Evie
I don't know why this show just randomly popped in my head but I remember watching it as a kid.
That's my favorite show on Saturday afternoon
I watched out of this world as a kid in the 90s when it was in reruns! I forgot it existed until recently; I fucking loved this show!
Watching this was like taking a nice warm bath.
I know this really has very little to do with the episode but $1.95 is a great price for two shakes.
I us to love this show. Its wonderfully cheesy!
2020!?!? I miss this show
this show was awesome evie freezing time use to watch as a kid. 61citystars thank you for uploading
Mr. T! I wasn't expecting that. That was awesome. Thank you for uploading.

This show was the legend, miss that time already ,
This show was the original mannequin challenge.
That would be "Bewitched", twenty years earlier.

I loved this show as a teenager thanks for these videos!
I love this opened and end theme, included growing pains nice theme too
The restaurant looks so similar to Saved by the Bell
This looks like a great show. I love my old shows from 70s n 80s n 90s why in the world I don't know this show.. Looks like a great show now n back then. If they xan only still make this kind of funny humor shows now.
i used to 💘 this 📺 show..
I always thought Kristen Bell looked like Evie.
ye she does!! its the eyes
O ysh i totaly see it
Bridget Mendler
Chris wasn't away @ school. Sonny sent him on a top secret job. He just had to pop back into the diner to look for Spinelli.
I love the Downtown Julie Brown MTV reference I miss that girl I miss MTV when it first came out
Here in 2023!!!
throwback classic show
This was when Steve Burton was doing General hospital as well so his role on this show . Reduced which was why they brought in this new guy
Didn't this show end then Steve did gh
Great show. I used to live near Monterey CA where "Marlowe" supposedly exists. The canned laugh track was a bit tiring.
Thank you! I used to love this show! :D
I love out of this world
12:45 there's got to be a better way than to treat Eve like this....I know, let's have each other! LoL
I'm from Australia and we never had that show aired here.
Out Of This World S04E01 New Kid on the Block (1990)
Good old days when tv use to be cool. So many cool shows
great show
Man I had such a huge crush on this girl when I was a kid growing up.. still do..
Had such a huge crush on this girl when I was younger
really? I had a crush on DJ from Full House
Ya me too haha and vada from my girl. Pretty much every blonde girl on TV haha I was young. I'm 31 now
I'm with you
Ryan Baggarly I liked chris!
Me, too...might have been my first crush, now that I think about it
"Birthmarks of a Nation."
Couldn't get away with that now.
Yet it was only funny joke in the entire segment.
Que buena serie buenos recuerdos
THEY WERE ON A BREAK!!
Scott baio of happy days directed this!
So cooooooooollllll
I thought Evie was the only one who could hear him.
A misconception everyone can hear the cube however only Troy aka the cube can hear and speak to Evie until season 2 when Evie made a birthday wish that her mom could speak to cube like she can!!😉❤👍

Why couldn't they have 4K back in the 80s, when people actually looked good. :C
i wonder what happened to the actual Troy "Cube" prop? someone from the show has to own one. im sure they made more than one...i really would like to have one. if anyone knows where i can get one let me know....even a replica would be cool, id much rather have a actual prop though.
Maureen Flannigan said in a one on one interview circa 2013 that the cube was lost in the years following the show. It was not in her possession.
I remenber this episode today morning. As I get in YT, it was recommended.
At 19 seconds, You are looking at the official voice actor of me.
Not anymore, kid.
The waiter did the Silly Salmon before it was a thing.
wasnt life so much different without; cell phones/internet/texting/social media!!!!!
Look for it only in books, for it is no more than a dream remembered; a civilization gone with the wind...
No one messes with Mr. T. LOL
Nice girls nice show she was hot.and now...My 🌧✨🌧shine for these girls that made fantastic performances
It’s almost like every saved by the bell, Disney teen show or Nickelodeon tv from the 90s used this formula. It’s almost like they used this for Alex Mack….. lol bewitched and I dream of genie mixed up for teens…. 😂
Jeff is cute, not Chris cute, but a different kind. I crushed Steve Burton so hard back then, lol. Jeff looks like the guy from Grimm a whole lot.
I still think that the voice of Troy was done by Burt Reynolds.
Wow i forgot about this show
I used to love it as a kid
Chris is very chatty, unlike Jason Quartermaine
He only shook because Evie was there, but when she leaves, he doesn't? Okay.
Good show
Same here i loved it how many ofthe 4 or 5 seasons are on here?
We all had a crush on Evie
do you might have the Out of this World episode Cinderella Evie for if you do then could you please Post it here on youtube,
Hah, it's still funny 😄
I always watched this with my mum, oh how I would love to be able to watch one more without mum.
Lol Jeff Cummings meet linsey soaker !!!!!
The soap stars this show spawned. This used to be family night when I was a kid. Then it got cancelled and moved to the USA network
I met a guy like Peter once...
He was homeless... And on meth.
Way back when people wrote letters to one another.....
God it’s nuts how the audience used to laugh hysterically when Evie froze time..
Fingers - “bing!” - people simply standing there, frozen.
***HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH***
HOW was it even that funny?!
8:40 he´s moving, haha
They both are. Usually they do the Freeze much better than this.
I forgot all about this show!
Donna Pescow & Christina Nigra so cute
Mr. T haha love it!
Jeff is a good looking weirdo, if he was average looking they would not be trying ti hang out with him and think he was a dork

Jeff technically did not meet Donna because Evie froze time but when Evie unfreezes time Jeff says not to meet you.
First episode of Season 4 you've got it listed in the wrong place on the full series list!
Awesome
Cummings, soaker, freezing time lol idk I wonder who comes up with this stuff in the 80s 90s
ALEX ❤
I just realized that saved by the bell copied out of this world.. in particular the max looks a lot like the restaurant in this episode...
they filmed st the same studio
I had that folder at 2:06!!!
I miss being a kid....
Me too
