  • Welcome to my latest partwork build, this time we have the MOUNTAIN 241-P-16 steam locomotive partwork release from altaya france.
This is a 120 issue build in 1/32 scale featuring lights, sounds and steam effects, although the wheels are not motorised I do hope to make them movable and if possible motorise them but that's a long way off just yet!
In this video i assemble issues 6 to 19 with a few modifications along the way.
    Enjoy the video!

Hey! It was super nice to see part 2! i have seen tutorials on how to cover up the bogie wheel screws before, but your method is by far the BEST, also the 10° parts are called "leaf springs" or "W arms", and 11° 13° is the main outer cylinder, also for the pistons, those tiny bits are called valve gear.

What a great idea to cover the screws, think with a build like this they should use allan bolts. I will follow to see this come together !! fantastic as usual.

Thankyou, yes it allways bugs me on these partworks that they put so much detail in some areas and then simple things like screws are left uncovered.
I'm glad to say apart from the visible screw issue everything else on this build so far has been excellent and I'm really looking forward to making more progress.
      Thanks for following along👍

@@jimhenshaw1601 Yes they are in french however the assembly pictures are easy enough to follow so you rarely need the written instructions.
