there is 5 type models police,police2,police3,police4,police5 u can only see police5 only main police stations. and police 4 is only ai can use that car but if u have simpletrainer then thats not a problem or custom police garage
(PC Players) How to use ELS Lighting System:
1. Click J on your keyboard 3 times
2. Click 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 to range from different siren-sounds.
3. Hold E to make a police horn sound.
4. Click ctrl + p to go and make the ui of the ELS system visible.

@@panagiotisgate_7 The keybinds should normally be in the main menu -> LSPDFR -> Keybinds. In the main menu you open with Ctrl!

@@mr.skidmarks1034 When I press J nothings did. Pres E only rear lights (brake lights) just started lighting. Press now J and now normal sound played but not that lights as he have

yo trooper u really helped me with this one m8 i asked someone a couple years back how to the helped me but they deleted my actual gta 5 main game .exe thing and said the mods are done but i deleted it 3 times and downloaded it again and i had this pack and couldn't find it so u rlly helped me up fam so thanks and gl!

It won't let me drag the cars on the folder why? I did everything on video. Access denied or is in use.

if anyone doesnt have the mods folder set up just create a folder in the main gta directory and copy the whole "update" file (its a big one) into the mods folder u just created then youre all set

So what I did I opened 2 file explorers I opened my gta main directory on both then went to the updates on one and made a new folder on the other then I opened the mods folder then drag and dropped the update file in and it’s not working

does the els folder have to be in my mods folder or can it be as a seperate folder
So the els seems to work for the cars, however the actual cars are still the vanilla cars. could you give me any pointers on how to fix this?
I did everything like you said, but when I turn on the ELS it either doesn't show or it's just on but not doing any patterns

Download Script Hook V then drag & drop the 3 files into your gta 5 main directory. You should be good
He explains one thing for 10 minutes and then slides in somethin else you gotta do real quick for a second, i dont blame you man confusing af if youre not a nerd
I've tried and tried for over an hour for this one step. At 5:56 seconds, you drop the three sheriff files for the car into OPEN IV, however I've tried and tried yet nothings working. I did step for step and cant seem to find a solution to this, it will NOT let me drop the files in.
Edit: I figured it out. So first off, you can NOT be in admin mode (i wasnt, just thought id add since thats another issue some people have.) Now since you can't drop the files in normally, you pull them out to your desktop (the three files, NOT the els.) and press the GREEN PLUS button in OPENIV. There, youll go to desktop files and find the three there. Click the three of them, then open. BOOM, there you go.

Quick question... I've installed my vehicles and everything, they work fine. However, when I walk next to my Police2 vehicle which is the Charger, it starts glitching. Any help?
Yo for some reason when I get to putting the files in my vehicle folder it dosent let me go into edit mode it just gives me a warning I press yes and it disappears, any fixes?
Am I doing something wrong? Everytime I try to download ELS it just downloads as a white page with no files, and the only option to open it is winzip which I don't have. I'm on Windows 11
So I rename all the files with the number 2,3,4 to the same file but without the number or will that ruin my game (for both part 1 and 2)

would this work if i delete the sheriff sheriff2 etc from a different pack and then add the sheriff and sheriff2 from another pack into the patchday i use ? idk if that makes sense i’m very new to modding and would like a different car pack then the one i have installed would also like to delete the pack i have installed but i do not know how.

You need to update your shv and rage native ui.

When I try to copy them over to the GTA V folder it says "that the file you specified is not valid or too long" so it doesn't let me pace, Any tips???
This did not work for me and I followed the instruction step by step. First the ESL did not work then it started crashing. I was able to uninstall everything. No shade just didn't work for me. You have some great other video's.
When i put the police cars files into any patchday, the police cars are still default, how do I fix this?

FOR THOSE NOT ABLE TO DRAG AND DROP THE FILES PRESS THE GREEN CROSS LABLED ADD FILES THEN FIND THE VEHICLE FILES, HIGHLIGHT THEM AND CLICK "ADD" IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT.
Whenever I install vehicle packs and it has vehicle data files when I compress them my Lspdfr just crashes whenvever I put that stuff in

You need to copy the ‘updates’ folder in the ‘mods’ folder, should take a sec because it’s much data

Make a new folder called mods in your GTA 5 folder.
Copy x64 and updates folder from gta5 directory and paste it Into your new mods folder
you stopped on the crown victoria, in the next vehicles, do I continue to rename the victoria crown slickback and the others the same "police" and then keep replacing the els file? just want to make sure I've understood correctly

Make sure it doesn't replace what you already have installed so if you have already replaced police, then replace police 2 instead and so on. And yes rename the els to match.

You have to make a mods folder when modding GTA, doesn't come with it.
Make the folder and copy x64 and updates folder into it

after i install my openiv it says that it is run as admin and needs to be run as normal but im running it normally
I know its unlikely that there will be help as fast as I need it but it doesn't let me add the files to the vehicles.rpf folder even though I'm in edit mode and have the 3 ASI manager things enabled.
