- Rwanda is one of the cleanest countries on Earth - literally no litter on the streets. It's also one of the safest countries in Africa - the crime rate is very low here. The roads are in excellent conditions, the views are spectacular and the people are friendly and welcoming.

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I was raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. The roots you saw being dried is Cassava, which after drying it can be ground to flour for porridge or ugali. It's highly nutritious cab. Substitute to maize.

The root you saw drying is Kassava (or Mandioca here in Mozambique).
You dry it to make flour or you can boil it. I think you hate it in a previous episode when you were riding with the guys and there was a lot of different dishes.

Its cassava, its a root plant.
Those tubers or roots are cassava like the ones you ate in Uganda. These are being dried to be grinded into flour to create ugali, (mashed potatoes) the bread like hot meal.
I just find it sad to watch video about this country.

YUCA root...boil it for like 20 minutes and just eat it...very sweet like yams or taro...or roasted on an open fire for little more than 20 minutes until done soft to the touch...
I think what you are looking at on 3:01 is cassava with skin peeled off.
