- So that's how I met legendary photographer Tim Burke! We've been Insta buddies for years and finally our ways have crossed in Tanzania. This episode is from our ride through the Kilimanjaro region, unfortunately the mountain itself was covered in clouds, but the zebras and giraffes weren't shy at all! Tim took some epic pictures, as he does, and I'll be always grateful for that. These are the best pics of me anyone has ever taken. Hats off Tim! Also, big thanks to Simon and Godfrey for their hospitality and kindness.

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I was raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. It's so nice to see you girls travelling around the world so adventurously!! I had a 1957 DKW RT 250 in 1973 and just travelled around mostly northern Europe. Great bike on a great tour in Northern Europe. I worked in western Tanzania by the Burundi border sometime in the 2010's and found the best beer was N'Dovo (did I spell that right?)?? Nice country, good people!!

Beautiful video. On the north of the mountain is the Amboseli National Park in Kenya. And at Ol Tukai, some beautiful camping areas and a five star hotel by name Ol Tukai. Kinga, your journey through the world is a wonderful World Geography textbook, live. Simply breathtaking.

Biking has changed!! I remember my biking days when we grabbed the rain gear and took off with a Trail Pack and a Road Map and came back after three months.

You're a it like father christmas handing out the goodies to the children. Good to have a travelling companion-some pretty thick loose stuff to go through. That thick mud like a clay just sticking to the tyres. Obviously that rain didn't help matters. Loved the section about the coffee. I'm so glad the locals are actually getting something out of it and that it's not just some big overseas corporation taking advantage of the resource & the people which is so often the case. It's so important the local people and community benefit from their work & the resource so they get properly paid so that the money flows back into the community to help them support their communities and live a better life.
