      @@justhenner2964 I think it can go either way depending on traffic from what Aman said. If you impede someone, make them brake etc, then it's serious. If there's no traffic coming and you recover quickly, then it's a minor.

      UK roads are very narrow, the drivers feel from the car hood to the road line as if they are driving over the line, again due to narrow roads also speed limitations, road rules, roundabout rules, it's 360 opposite to any Asian country so it's not true that driving in UK is easy for any Asian, it doesn't mean no one can drive either❤

    At 10:16 as she has to be on the right side and she waited there is it allowed to switch lanes in driving test? Or its fine to switch it before roundabout? As at 10:16 she is clearly on the left hand side? As its a lot of confusion people get failed because of switching lanes so when is it allowed and how? Any advice please, also at 10:42 looking at the sign board of this roundabout it looks like 4 exit goes towards the Heathrow, where as she took the 3rd exit? Because the exit she takes just before that there is also an exit towards her right side which is the 4th exit??? Can anyone please explain it, thanks

    • @wrightwoodwork
      @wrightwoodwork Před 3 měsíci

      Yes even perfectly fine. The lane she was in was either to carry on around or exit on the right lane off . Which she does . The roundabout part no issues the only part poor was not moving back to the left lane after when safe. You can switch lanes providing its safe but want to try to avoid unnecessarily . Its when changing lanes with no awareness and not checking is the problem . Even when you past your test in a new area you ain't always going to the correct lane. All you simply do is can I change safely yes or no . If no just carry on and work out an alternative route. Saying that I do think learners should learn what to do when the wrong lane is chosen so they understand what's safe to do and not safe

    I always Wonder Why they dont check their blindspot before turning left or right. Here in Germany you Need to check your blindspot even before changing the Lanes . Why is ist different in England ?

    • @ado543
      @ado543 Před 3 měsíci

      I’ve also wondered this - Germany, the Netherlands etc all emphasise checking the blind spot before every turn. In the UK, I think you should check your blind spot before changing lanes, but when turning, no one checks it.
      I think it has something to do with the prevalence of cycle paths in Germany. When turning in Germany, you need to make sure there are no cyclists on your side because they have the priority to go straight ahead.
      Cycle paths are less common in the UK, and until recently, cyclists on a cycle path almost never had the priority over turning traffic. Instead, cyclists needed to look all around and stop for turning cars at every junction. This is now changing, but in most areas, there aren’t many cycle lanes or cycle paths to worry about, so there is no real need to check.
