Instead, he is focusing on action which is not his forte. Maybe one or two movies would be OK. But he made tons of movies to showcase his fighting skills which ruined it. If he had done movies where he is the thinking brain directing others to do the front line work, the movies would have been blockbuster hits. Instead he chose to do "everything" himself.
