Because the car is rated as the top car by most including me I can see the fascination. Yours is a very nice spec. I’ve have been fortunate to drive the previous GT3 for some time. To me it’s a weekend car, certainly not a daily but I’ve not driven the 992 variant. Would love to see a video on road at some point.
My dad had a Porsche when I was a child but then my sister came along. A car seat would not fit. While a Porsche is my dream car the prices are unattainable for most. The best I will ever do is a used one with mileage. Love living through your videos.

Love the car. The blue is gorgeous. I never understand people who get a gorgeous car in a dull color. We’ve been Mercedes customers for years but I know my husband would love a Porsche but he’s just too tall to be comfortable in them. He went to the Porsche driving school and had a great time driving all the models.

I’m learning to drive (finally!!) and manual in general definitely is just easier for rural life because those B roads can morph from an A level quality road to a glorified lane way very fast but in cities with roundabouts and lane changes it’s a nightmare. WHO decided to put zebra crossings and traffic lights in busy city roundabouts 😭 My gear stick is nearly coming off it’s hinges by the time I drive around those because you have take off as quick as you stop. How the hell do people drive in London in a manual without suffering heart failure?
I like what you said about daily. I was just telling my wife that if you like sports cars then that's your daily. Her mega-rich boss got a GT3 or a GT2, and just traded it back after a month or so after the bragging rights and a few hundred KM and went to an SUV and 4 door. Everybody likes sports cars, but the sports car enthusiast will prefer to drive a sports car rather than any other any day of the week. Identity!

This was FUN! A very nice switch up from the normal vlogs. My 1st car was a manual transmission so when you said "clutch leg" I had to laugh bc it brought back so many memories. Thank you Sophie this was great
It's a beautiful car. I can't foresee myself owning a Porsche but those Audi!!, It's likely I will own another one once my local area has a better charging infrastructure. Until then, my Honda will suffice a little longer. The upside to owning a slightly less fancy car is that it hurts less when my kids are learning to drive and bumping into curbs and snowbanks.
Its a wonderfully optioned car, I'm sure its a real joy. Thank you for talking about the process, it was really insightful and rarely spoken about... mainly because most creators are picking up a loan car from Porsche HQ and are not actual buyers.
The color you picked is just perfection! Porsche is one of the cars I haven’t driven yet, maybe I need to give one a go. I’m currently between an Audi RS5 (daily), a new 2 door bronco, and an Indian FTRS (weather permitting). I think those together add up roughly to the GT3. 😂

Hey Warren! I think the Targa 4 GTS is just the best of the best, and pretty rare too. You don’t see many on the roads (not in the U.K. at least) Go for it if you are thinking of it!!

Thanks for taking us through the process! Of all the things that little keychain with paper in it seems so odd, I would think an AirTag or RFID or something, but not a message in a bottle 😂 I personally think any car be a daily driver depending on what you want out of your drive and the level of maintenance you are willing to take on. We track our M3 now, but prior it was a daily drive. I had a 1 series (M package) that as a daily driver took a beating from our city roads so I eventually gave it up, but miss it like mad!

I enjoyed this even though I don’t have the car bug. My requirements are something chic and pretty, you will never find me driving the ugly family slg, that gets me from A to B in comfort and the minimum of drama. Even if I could afford a Porsche I would never buy one because it would fail on the drama part. Sadly, Melbourne is notorious for car thefts and jackings. The latest fad is the scariest. A gang bashes in your front door in the middle of the night, beats the crap out of you and steals your car keys and car. And our premier has the nerve to tell everyone that Melbourne doesn’t have a gang problem! It’s very sad but I would be too scared to drive it or even tell anyone that I had it. I sincerely hope that London is safer for cars and that you enjoy it very much.
MSRP premiums are already declining pretty quickly, IIRC the GT3 is down 8% quarter-over-quarter based on existing listings. Supply slowly going up as well, still nowhere near pre-COVID though. If buying a daily, I'd maybe get a Touring instead of the standard 992.2.

I think that is the hardest bit, once you know what industry you love you can climb the ladder. That’s what happened for me, I figured my career path at 23 and then climbed up.
