Sunak completed a trade agreement a while back with India apart from a few paragraphs put on hold for announcement until after the election. India has always declined any trade agreement that did not provide an open visa system for Indian nationals to come here at will. The agreement did not overcome this, the final paragraphs would have been announced after the election. Guess what and why? Tories have always focussed everyone on boat migrants because it scares people into voting for them but majority come here with visas to provide cheap labour for tory donors and the Tories say next to nothing about them. The Tories make a splash about boats but in reality there are huge numbers they could deport to home country at any time but they don't because immigration dept is so starved of funding.

Reforms will be needed, I doubt we will see justice for the crimes committed but the names and 'reputations' of all those involved should not be spared.
