Watch live: Boeing safety concerns reviewed by NTSB

The National Transportation and Safety Board (NTSB) will hear testimony Wednesday in the second day of hearings into potentially inadequate manufacturing standards at aerospace company Boeing.
Scrutiny of the company became acute following the blowout of a door on an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 Max 9 in January.
On Tuesday, the NTSB released public documents, including statements from Boeing workers that spoke of pressure to work too fast and a perceived lack of accountability for safety concerns.
Wednesday’s hearing began at 9 a.m. EDT.

I built last handbuilt. 747 frames in Perry GA. Northrop grumman workers had years of accumulated notes explaining how to set jigs up for each build type: cargo, pax or combi..super quality control as quality was built into the process, and if you had a defect that requires a K tag, it was encouraged to request, understanding that mistakes do happen

I built 777 outbound flap in Stuart FL. Terrible quality due to manufacturing processes errors, blamed on workers. Quality cannot be inspected into a product

I was fired for over inspecting engines/pylons at a repair station. B767, Atlas Amazon prime owned engines. 16:21
