I just bough it but what is the purpose of the water tank? I thought it was going to wet the mop and then you could actually mop the floor.
There are v15 3 versions does it work on all v15
Does the Vacuum works well with hairs on the floor? i saw somewhere online, that mentioned it doesn't work well with hair.
I would use the stick Dyson power head for hair

Yes, you could I guess. That was just a demo but good for cleaning the whole tiled area as well.

No it doesn't
Will it work with the absolute detect gen5?
I don't have a Gen5 to test sorry, my guess would be yes but not sure, you could always reach out to the brand direct and ask.
Did you ever try on carpet? Got one of those green machine carpet cleaner, but this would be much faster
Have not tried that yet, I think it's more designed for hard flooring.
Does any water enter the vacuum’s filter? Recently Dyson warned against using third party attachments which may damage the vacuum. Dyson will not honor their warranty if the vacuum is damaged by water.

Yes don't do this. Karcher make electric wet mops. This is a stupid invention. Moisture will make its way up. The cyclone bit has tiny pores and moisture can cause the dust to become like cement and block up those pores.

You could yes but you would probably want to wash it all out after.
Are you still using it? Hasn't it destroyed your Dyson after few months of using?
I've used it about 4 times since making the video, I haven't had any issues with the V15 since using it.
Thanks! My intention is to use it more often. Just looking for a good moping solution for Dyson. I am cautious about non-dyson heads. My concern is water getting sucked into the vacuum cleaner.
