Have now received my BB58GMT from my dealership, and am very pleased with the watch. It's really accurate on timekeeping and super comfortable to wear. The T fit clasp is such winner for Tudor.

@@thomasmoll8822 I agree. It wouldn’t be so bad if it were actually a two tone watch. They should’ve went with a coke or Pepsi insert like the pre ceramic Rolex gmt.
But it still wouldn’t change the fact that the indexes are not plain white..

I like that you buck the “always buy on bracelet” rule. Like when you bought the BB Pro on nato. That rubber strap looks amazing with the Tfit clasp.

I have my Tudor Pepsi GMT on the rubber strap as well. I got the straps from Tudor and the end links from Uncle Seiko. Love it.

Really nice practical size for a travel watch. Really like the gilt vintage look.
It's finally a step in the right direction and what it should have been in the beginning. Just waiting for more color options.. they will come.
Additionally, this will surely update the BB Pro to be slimmer and maybe also with more color options.
A polar Pro would be a nice colorway

Another great thing about this watch is that the bezel is actually a 60 click, which makes it a useful timing bezel, unlike the 24 click on the Rolex. A truly all in one watch. Even though I have the Pepsi, this one is awfully tempting. Congrats on your purchase!
I do belive it is 48 clicks, but maybe @uptickwatchreviews can confirm. Why would you have 60 clicks on a 24 hour bezel? It's not like you can read of, like 25 minutes or whatever, on the bezel?

@@hansakselos4636 I've read elsewhere is 60 clicks also. Useful for timing 60 clicks - as can just put the 12 marker at the appropriate point ahead of the minute hand when timing something - using the dial minute markers.

You would like to e.g. turn the bezel 15 cliks ahead from where the minute hand is right now so that you can "count down" the time for your parking runs out and things like that. Sure, that could work, but the bezel is desingned rather for a third time zone function.

Looks good - their best watch for a while. I think the gilt is central to the 58's identity, so it makes sense (and looks good) here. (Many) More colours will come. Surely the Jubilee off the BB39 would fit? Or the no rivet Oyster. Wear it well.

I would have appreciated the "jubilee" strap as an additional choice, but the rubber strap is gorgeous. I have that on my BB54, feels and looks great. And the T-fit mechanism is far more useful than I thought. BTW I would say under 16.5 cm wrist go for a BB54, not the 58.
Can you do a video of this compared to the bb58? would love to see those side-by-side. Especially the bezel colors and slight size variation.
Tudor is now backup of expected/requested rolex. But in a vintage style just in case were rolex would release same piece in modern version.

Glad they've finally done it, but I'm going to wait for a more non-gilt colors and hopefully they bring the 5 link bracelet to this as well. As it is, feels a little two similar to the S&G GMT I already have.
Is this the same rubber strap they use for the BB54. Are they interchangeable?

Man try this Tudor or other one first before buying Longines I bet you’ll be amazed! Don’t have this version have the Pepsi the burgundy heritage 41 mm cases , 39 Tudor Pro with steel and hybrid bracelet plus a Pelagos love them all ahh forget the panda chronograph as well all are great watches now Tudor trow this new model “Coke” when my AD have it available I’ll try it but until now must say this gilt version with this rubber strap looks quite cool my opinion they should sell it like the Pelagos 😉 bracelet + rubber band but get ready for spent a few bucks for a steel bracelet I would! It puts the watch on another step further !
Like my Pelagos on titanium bracelet vs the rubber band or the Pro with the hybrid that’s the one I wear the most expensive yes but very well done
There’s some aftermarket bracelets out there but never buy or saw on on the “flesh”
All that said nice watch’s compared to Longines more “vintage” aviator design than Tudor’s my opinion
Mon ami, you indeed are the style icon for all things watches-- I followed your lead on the BB58 a few years back, and now that I'm also living in Asia, I really need that GMT function on my wrist for my conference calls to Europe and the US. By the way, how do you like you BB54? I'll look for a video on that as well!

Have to say that Tudor is now the new Modern KING ! I will wait to have a BB58 GMT opaline dial with no golden gilts :)
It's a great watch, no question, but the colors combination is not for me. Gilt overdose. Would love this in the same monochromatic palette as the Black Bay they released this year. Also, they really, really need to propose a 5 link jubilee style on this model. It would fit its style so well.

Um, no. The bronze is what makes it look stunning. If you want an absolutely boring watch with zero character then buy a Rolex.

Wonder if it's possible to buy this watch on the bracelet and get the rubber strap included, would be nice to be able to swap once in a while. This watch looks amazing on both, unlike some watches Omega makes. Like the seamaster 300m, the rubber strap version looks so much better than the bracelet because the bracelet doesn't taper down, while the rubber strap does.

Congrats! I bought a Rolex GMT Coke, had to pay 80k HKD for one in really good condition (without papers) from Ken. This is a strong competitor to that at below half the price!

Would be nice to see you turn the bezel and count, seems to be confusion on whether it is 48 or 60 click. I slowed this video down and tried to count them myself, kind of looks like 48 to me.

The 58 size is better than the larger 41mm to be sure. The Tudor cases are a bit chunky, like the Rolex supercase.
Congrats on the purchase. I do honestly think that your old Sophia Loren is far more beautiful. Perhaps as you said, this is a good daily ride.

Yo this is so not Hedgefund BSD status (jk). But congrats, now you need them to release the Jubilee. Me being a GMT poweruser I got the craziest vibes with the bezel all the time, I track 4 timezones, UTC, HK, NY and Japan, how that's possible? You memorize nearby timezones.
To be fair, they were married back in 2022 with the release of the Black Bay Pro…maybe most would call that more of an engagement since the pro does not have a rotating bezel and because of the thickness. So, I wonder what happens to the Pro now? Seems a bit redundant to have the BB GMT, BB Pro GMT and now the BB 58 GMT. Each one offers something a bit different, but still…

Without the gilt and in a pepsi colour it would be perfect!
The size is nice but the bezel and the gilt is a bit too much for me especially with the modern rubber strap 🤔 obviously they will be doing a new 58 next year and that’s going to be the one I’m waiting for. Hopefully they will do a monochromatic version. They might as well scrap the BB Pro and the BB GMT because no one is going to buy one of those thick lumps of steel when you can get this especially when they release a few different colours.
That’s the thing the BB GMT Pro 41 mm isn’t even thick compared to many other watches. I appreciate the heft of mine and wrist presence of mine as well.

Glad you’re happy - but you protested too much about the bracelet. Sounds like a bigger customer got the bracelet version. I actually got the BB Pro on the strap and just ordered the bracelet. Otherwise I would have been waiting a long time.

I think people would be amused since Tudor was created to be an affordable Rolex, sharing parts but with a genetic movement. Now they're in a sweet spot with manufacture calibers. When they stray from making a direct Rolex-related product they rarely succeed.

Wouldn't Tudor owners want the company to alter it just enough to make the design uniquely theirs? A lot of brands use Rolex designs for inspiration. This is a genuine question; I'm into dress watches and I don't know.
You’re entitled to your uninformed opinion. There are only so many things one can do with a dive watch. By your logic a Rolex Sub is an homage to a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, the 1st dive watch.
