My generation lived through the most dynamic musical era ever. We are so fortunate to have been here on God's earth at the right time to be blessed with the music in you, God's gift of music that HE graced you with and you shared with us. As a True Believer in God Our Father and HIS Son Our Saviour Jesus Christ...I do hope that you, in your heart, knew Yeshua for who HE is: The Way, The Truth and The Life. And no one comes to The Father except through HIM. Just like you, I as a young man followed the Eastern religions and philosophies on that long road that leads us to nowhere. I truly believe that you did discover that Truth of Truths before you left this world. You being a deep thinker and seeker of The Truth...how could you have not seen. Yes, I do believe that you did. I wish that George and Eric had recorded a studio album together as a duo. Well, at least we have many songs featuring the two of them in almost forty years of friendship to make a nice compilation.

I have been fortunate to have a friendship like that (minus the wife sharing) for nearly 40 years. Our friendship developed out of work when I was an intern/reporter at a TV station and he was a cameraman. Both of us were green as could be. Over the years we worked together in different capacities, making all manner of medical videos and documentaries. Our ability to use our divergent skills to create work seen by a lot of people transcended into our friendship. To this day I can't believe how lucky I am to have that friendship.
Friendships like this don't seem to exist anymore. Especially in the entertainment industry, where people stand next to you because of who you are, in relation to what you can do for them. George's adoration and respect for Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan is so endearing.
This is quite well done and enjoyable to watch... thanks Here’s something you can consider in the relationship of these two men During the performance of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” at The Concert for Bangladesh as they square off to trade licks at the end of the song, EC is completely subdued and humble with a big hollow body guitar, unsuitable for screaming licks, and with his eyes and smile he encourages George to rip it up with the white strat as if to say “This is YOUR moment to shine, not mine!”

When I was younger, I thought John was the heaviest Beatle, but more and more now, I think it was George.
