Regarding Al Aktza -
1. There is no mention of Jerusalem in the Koran. So it's a big debate if it was ever as holy to Muslims as they claim. They hove Meka which is the holiest place for tham.
2. Jews are not allowed to pray at the temple. Only Muslims. There are soldiers there because most of the time, there are also terrorists there. They prayed with her... she just wasn't aware of it, and feared from the IDF who are actually the ones that kept here safe and enabled her to pray.
3. Beit Hamikdash is from King David. The Muslims built Al Aktza on top of it. We, the Jews pray in the Kotel, a huge wall of the temple that wasn't ruined. And is beneath Al Aktza. I had my Bar Mizta there, and I hope my son will too.
4. Put everything aside - what about our 128 kidnapped people? Of all ages - the youngest was 9 months old on the 7th of October and if he's still alive, he's 1.5 yo now. The oldest are holocaust survivors. What about them? Do "Pro-Palestinians" think it is right that they are held captive for 230 days now? Raped, murder... do you know that on the last negotiations - hamas said he cannot find 40 alive hostages? And now they are talking about less than 20 alive... want to talk about starving and raping as a means of war?!? Do you as "pro-palestinians" support that?

I'm in university and I'm for Israel's right to exist and defend itself from terrorists! I also get straight As and a 4.0 GPA. I use my critical thinking skills, and research. I fell for the Pro-Palestinian side misinformation and their buzzwords like genocide or apartheid. But ever since the encampments and the Jew hate in those protests, I saw I was with the wrong side. I then did more research on the history of the region to learn the truth and educate myself. Hope these students will use their critical thinking skills, since that's what colleges teach. To question and look and both sides, if they are not using those skills, they failed their college years.

I come from the left (at times, I might even say from the radical left) in Europe, and I used to be blindly pro-Palestinian. I would react strongly to images of dead Palestinian children after Hamas’s attacks on Israel, feeling anger toward Israel. For years, I watched these events unfold without once feeling outraged by Hamas’s exploitation of Palestinian children’s lives. However, one day, almost inexplicably, it was literally like an awakening, I felt intense anger toward Hamas for the first time. It was then that I begun a deep and unbiased research into the history of both sides. Before that I was just parroting , reacting to the images and romanticizing Hamas as true rebels for the cause of their people, when in reality they are pure tribalistic savages who make multibillions from their people's exploitation.
I discovered that the Arab world harbored a profound hatred for Jews, which nowadays is even intertwined with a MULTIBILLION-DOLLAR Hamas's business. Hamas, does not want Peace! This was even evident in 2005 when Israel evacuated 8000 settles and the whole military. Israel could have gradually relinquished control over the airspace and sea if the other side truly sought peace. As for historical context, Israel did indeed clear out areas in brutal ways during the 1940s. But this came after the massive attacks and attempts from the neighboring Arab countries who joined the Palestinian Arabs, who aimed to eradicate all Jews from the region. The Jewish population fought fiercely for its life and ultimately prevailed, organizing themselves and evolving.

Thank you for taking the trouble to post the information. I never supported them because when I was a young adult back in the 70s, they committed so many terrorist acts. The number of innocents they killed back then was just insane. Older people tend to support Israel because at a young age we witnessed how brutal Palestinians could be. Yes, I only learned about those incidents because I searched. Especially during the Second Intifada, Palestinian militant groups sometimes used even children for suicide bombings. Minors were recruited to attack Israeli targets, both military and civilian. This gave me the answer why Israel has imprisoned so many children.
