ugh stupid bro.....the rotary motor gives of to much heat so that WR is just gonna make you lose hp because its breathing motor heat in...the best air intake for a RX8 is Mazdaspeed or AEM because thay run like the stock air intake....thay are built & design for your grill & thay are ram air kits....plus you know nothing about the rotary because you crank the car while your temp gauge was showing cold & then shut it off....i guess you also believe the RX8 has a computer chip so you can tune it
Horrible intake, loss of power and hotter air, hand in hand, pure waste of money, do a custom ram intake so you can still get the cold air in or get a cold air intake with a splash guard. Why people continuously waste their time and money to make their cars perform worse for a little extra sound is beyond me. Stupidity. Do it proper or don’t do it at all. Smh... 🤦🏻♂️
Hello Ricardo Malaquias, Thank you for your personal concern for my engine. However if you re-watch my video I mention several times that the engine is still "hot" I just got done driving it 40 miles to pick up that intake, there was no need to let it run. I have good coils, wires, plugs and a 2kw starter... I was not worried about it flooding. :-)
As a matter of fact, I just ordered up a catch can from Amazon :-) .... expect a new video this weekend!

i did a cai install but cap the vaccum lines from that you still installed idle is terrible car running lean & rich

Hi Dan, no. I did a vacuum pump delete as the motor was bad and didn't want to replace it, I just bought a block off plate for the exhaust.

Please look at the date on this video, I have replaced this with AEM intake, this was garbage.
You should let the car warm up before turning it off ☹️

do you have a problem with your temp gauge, you say engine is hot but it does not look like it looking at your dials,
No problem at all. I just finished driving nearly 40 miles to pick up the intake... trust me, engine was hot.
