Nice! I did one of these videos last year with my sled mods. I like the idea of having 2 crates on the back. Might steel that from you and weld up a bracket for them 😊
I agree about fan cooled. I MUCH prefer it. Liquid overheats on flat ice too fast. Good tour. Thanks! Canadian Ice fishing Expo videos are coming soon. 😉 Would be handy to provide links in your description to your gear such as the sled racks, cameras, rods, tackle, 😉 etc....
Just seeing this video. Thanks for doing this. I use the same Plano boxes! Would you be able to post a pic of the rack you had made that the boxes are attached to, please? Thanks!
Man I wish I knew more about sleds when I bought mine for ice fishing. 2 stroke fan 550 touring model (2up) All fine and dandy except IT WEIGHS 700LBS WITH A FULL TANK?!?!? Much prefer my dads little 277cc single cylinder skidoo tundra. Low gearing pulls like an ox. Starts amazing in -30. Two guys can throw it in a truck like nothing. Amazing snow flotation, incredible fuel milage, just everything about it says utility. Just cant climb hills for s4!t.
Good walk around. I always like to see how others set up their own ride. A mount for the auger would be nice, it was a big improvement not having it in the sleigh I found. I've got a 98 polaris 488 fan cooled and it's a work horse. I'd agree with the ice scratchers regardless of liquid or fan cooled. Best thing I put on mine for those late season trips with little to no snow. I haven't been doing as much hard water time and putting it up for sale soon after owning it for 19 years. The girlfriend and I spend more time on the trails and she bought me a GSX 600 etec for Christmas. She says I can't have both. Lol. Enjoy all your videos!
I'm a sled guy... I would never suggest a tundra 550 to anyone unless they are a trapper. VERY TIPPY dangerous to trail ride sled. My father in law has one with the widening kit installed and it sucks still. Great for breaking trail through the bush where there is NO TRAIL , but not something you want to ride fast.
Most Underrated Channel. Follow this guy alot. He knows his stuff when it comes to Simcoe and Surrounding Areas. Souther Ontario.
🙏
Great video Seabass. Thanks for sharing your setup! I'm looking to buy a sled this year and found your video very helpful.
good video. looking forward to the rest of the season.
Great video Seb, hope all our ice doesn't disappear over the weekend!

Everything is cool and nice. Just he careful cause I hear people are breaking through left, right and center with the warm conditions.
FUGGNJUST GONNA SEND IT
You need scratchers regardless liquid or fan cooled. on glare ice you will burn out the hyfax strips and wreck your track.
If you got stuffed track isn’t not as bad but yes
yeah but how often do you not have at least a light dusting of snow, Or occasional banks to run through?

No trail on the ice either....😂
Super american, way way too much stuff. Most of the time you deal with the gear, not fishing :)
You mean well equipped to save time so more fishing can be don't more efficiently.
