    Why is it so important they swim in that dam river? The water looks like raw sewage water.

    It's a good thing for everyone to try and have healthy, safe waterways. It's sad that it takes such an event to make a difference when it should have been important to have clean waterways all along.

    What’s absurd is how much doubting and back-and-forth there is. They should have come up with a Plan B from the first microsecond they questioned whether the river would actually be ready in time or not.
    It’s great to have fun ideas, but it’s even greater to have the good sense of scrapping them when you see they’re not working…

  • @samuelcarvallo402
    @samuelcarvallo402 Před 26 dny +6

    Water quality is superior than it was in Tokyo and Rio but nobody cared enough to comment back then. The last few days the river was deemed safe for swimming most of the time and the French minister of sports swam in the river this morning. The weather was really bad in June and the infrastructures were not in place yet, so maybe you should wait before criticizing the way Paris is handling this event.

    • @user-xw9eo4lw8q
      @user-xw9eo4lw8q Před 26 dny +1

    • @samuelcarvallo402
      @samuelcarvallo402 Před 26 dny +3

      @@user-xw9eo4lw8q So what is your point ? Because that's exactly my point The video is saying the water is not safe for swimming right now which is incorrect righ now and that it was not safe in May or April which as you're saying yourself is not relevant. It's possible that with heavy rain (which is unlikely in late July) the river will not be safe but since they now do have a contengency plan what more do you want ? They never pretended the Seine will be safe in May or June, they always stated it almost certainly will be safe for the olympics. So can you explain what is the problem then ?
