Between llm and an accelerated J.D(2 year) which one would you recommend for an Indian lawyer, also is there any difference between a regular jd and an accelerated jd in terms of career opportunities? (Asking in U.S context)
JD is always more powerful. The same is taken if you want to practice in court. LLM also provides a pathway to the Bar exam but has very few states to accept as compared to JD, which is accepted across. LLM is to be taken for enhancing a career in Business Law, arbitration, contracts, patents, etc, and less towards the bar exam. Some students after 1 year of LLM opt for 2 years of JD. The final decision is based on career objectives.

Hi there! I'm a Pakistani law graduate who is considering moving to the United States since I have an immigrant visa there. My brother, who also resides in the United States, told me that in order to practise law there, I need to complete a Juris Doctor degree. My question is, will my five years of LLB (hons) in Pakistan be accepted as credit towards a bachelor's degree in the United States? Could you please advise me on this or anything LSAT related?
You can take Juris Doctor or opt for LLM, which is 1 year course. You may take 2 one-year courses with specialization. The LLM of 1 year will allow you to take the Bar exam and practice as a lawyer in the USA. You can take 1 year in US Law and one year in Arbitration, contract drafting, immigration, patents, etc.

There are many LLM courses in the USA leading to Bar practice. There are students who do two different 1 year LLM courses also. Arbitration, International law, Contract drafting, Patents, and Immigration are some of the specializations. Not all universities provide courses leading to the Bar exam, nor all states accept them.

If you are happy with Intellectual property rights, you should do LLM in this field. Other popular options are Arbitration, Contracts etc

You need to do a minimum of 1 year LLM to take the Bar exam. You need to decide on a specialization. Direct Bar exam not possible.

No, you cannot practice as lawyers unless you pass Bar exam. You can work in law firm in paralegal work. The main problem is VISA? How will you secure VISA to go to USA?

JD is costly course. Approx. US$ 30,000 per year onwards is the fees. Few may have lower.
After B.Com and BBA student we can apply juris doctor in usa. and the last question what is JD couse fee for 3 years
Yes. Juris Doctor can be applied with B.Com and BBA. The Fees will depend upon your profile and university. Mostly US$20,000 per year onwards. There are huge scholarships available based on profile.

You need to enter the USA with an education. Cn does specialization in Business Law, Arbitration, Contracts, Patents, Immigration, etc. Direct job tough. VISA is a big challenge due to the lottery.

Just appear for TOEFL and GRE. With LLB degree, you can get admit in LLM. We can handle admission.
