    Limited success from the talks then Dave.
    In my opinion the damage done by Shi is beyond repair especially the remark concerning Wolves winning trophies.

      @@stephenholmes1036 that’s a real shame. I’m fortunately in a position where I can afford to renew for both me and my son but I’ve decided not to on principle. Those fans who do renew are, whether they like to face the reality or not, helping these owners in their strategy to squeeze this club as much as they can. They have proven on several occasions, not just this most recent debacle, complete disregard to our fan base. We will get shafted again and again, it is no longer a question of if but when. My money is that will be the summer transfer window where assets will be sold well in excess of any transfer spend.

      @@AlwaysWolves I think Wolfman’s view is fair. Jeff Shi is very autocratic with a pretence of democracy amongst his management team, otherwise how on earth would the original pricing decision and subsequent pitiful communication of it got through a fully rounded sign off process? I also wouldn’t be sure they will all the gaps from the waiting list. A team that finished 14th, backed by no explicit commitments to invest further and with an owner whose stated ambition is to give up on silverware and Europe means we are from the attractive draw for more casual fans that we might have been in the early days of our PL tenure. This year was my 50th as a STH and I can honestly say I’ve never felt less emotionally invested I’m my football club and a VAR corrupt PL than I do now.

    Nothing gained for those who simply cannot afford to renew. Shi's remarks about the Wolves might not be the club for us if we have ambitions are absolutely atrocious and insulting. I do not trust him one jot. He should have been sacked by now if Fosun cared anything for us. We are customers not fans. Plain and simple. Respect and trust are broken, possibly forever during Fosun's tenure. I doubt pensioners, disabled, and kid's parents are jumping for joy. Disgrace. Dave,Thankyou for the work you and the other fan groups have done on our behalf, however, the damage is already done, Jeff’s statement saying if you want European football or success Wolves may not be the club for you. Every business as a mission statement that states the intent of the business normally based on the business growing and becoming successful, clearly Fosun does not see Wolves been a successful club, progressing or qualifying for Europe, so therefore I will not be paying £825 or £92 a month to sit in the Steve Bull stand. I can’t believe it’s come to this after 53 years of following this club through everything it’s been through. We were on the verge of establishing ourselves as a top 10 premier club but since Nuno’s departure we’ve gone backwards, we’ll be back in the championship within the next 2 seasons, hopefully Fosun do what every genuine Wolves fan wants and sells the club to someone with ambition who recognises the passion and loyal support of the people who follow Wolverhampton Wanderers

    It's great for the under 14 and a price freeze on 25/26 season that's the least they could have done
    But it never should have come to this in the first place
    Though it's a step in the right direction the way they went about it was outrageous and pure GREED on there behalf
    Trying to price the real supporters out of the game who have Been loyal to the club for as many as 60yrs
    But I think Jeff Shi has alot to answer for and alot of making up to do if he wants the fan's back on his side he has made alot of enemies now but it was all avoidable.
    Massive Congratulations to the advisory board all the channels and everyone else who was part of the petition sent to Fosun

    I applaud the efforts for change. Whilst the result has achieved some short term positive outcomes, the focus on the long term strategy will likely see similar battles to be fought in the near future. I have supported fosun and their approach to the challenges the club has faced through Covid and ffp. But I feel the opportunity has been missed to revolutionise their economic strategy and hasn’t inspired a favourable longer term strategy. I’d love for wolves to one day be the pioneers. To set the precedent for an economic model that becomes the envy of the footballing world. We’re following trends, I’d love to see us set the trend for once.

    Jeffs laughing his ass off knowing he has these prices frozen next year for the championship. Seriously though, this is just a calculated minimal spend before they push shirts out. Damage done for me, Fosun out.

    Thanks for everyones efforts but this is far from a victory. My 65+ ticket and my granddaughter’s U17 tickets will cost £280 more than last season. No gaurantee Fosun won’t ‘adjust’ the age groups so that my granddaughter will probably pay more. Adult season tickets will be frozen. Does that mean 65+ as well? Don’t give up the fight. I repeat a great effort but NO victory.

    Thanks for the report Dave. What the club has "given" us is pathetic!! The trust and all the fans have been magnificent but the struggle has to continue, empty seats speak end of. I also see that not a sausage has been given to our disabled fans. Sorry mate it's not what I call a win, feels like it was planned this way by the club from the start. Shi no longer has any credibility he should resign hi position immediately.

    • @AlwaysWolves

      the disabled fans prices patently had not gone up its the carer that come with them I believe

  • @paintedbymatthew
    @paintedbymatthew Před 21 dnem

    Make no mistake, this has nothing to do with what is best for the fans. This has everything to do with the embarrassment protests and boycotts would bring, and the potential revenue loss versus any profit from price hikes. Even then, it's a token offer. The majority of the rises remain unchanged. Smoke and mirrors, Jeff Shi style.

      @@AlwaysWolves Oh certainly it has, but the change has almost definitely been driven by "this will make us look bad and harm our bottom line" rather than "we want fans to be happy, no matter what."

  • @AIUnkind
    @AIUnkind Před 21 dnem +2

    Ok this is massive improvement
    Can we get back to the football now - no point having such good concessions without Wolves avoiding selling most of the best players - we can’t really on kids from the academy good as they may be and we cannot keep selling our best players to rivals - it is time to move away from ticket neurosis
    Yes without the fans football is nothing but without the best players ( I fear we will sell too many ) Wolves will be doomed anyway - we must now focus on getting the management not to sell too many good players

    I couldn't be bothered to watch the video. I don't agree with all the flapping about ticket price increase from the owners of the club...... I fully support the increase in ticket prices for our premier league future.
    If you want to watch top level football then unfortunately you have to pay for it.
    I just hope all this ticket price increase flapping does not effect our season and put us back in contention for FFP in 2025.
    I think wolves will at some point end up in the championship and hopefully you will all be happy.....
    Finally I bet you will all renew your season tickets as none of you had the balls to back up all this flapping about ticket price increase.
