    Only video that actually shows where the tube connects to a plastic fitting and goes through the firewall.

    Same issue... 2008 . There's a filter inside the plug. That's what clogs. You definitely knocked it out. I'm going to try just knocking it out with a screw driver. Have new plug ordered from Amazon. Great video. Passenger side.

    I have a similar issue with my 2013 Altima and Nissan service quoted my $450 to "replace" that nipple

    I removed the plugs and more hose to make longer. And put it the hole so it can clogged again.

    Thank goodness the driver's side front nipple is much, much easier to get to. Same deal with the Nissan supplied plastic hole guard piece needing to be broken out. Also I wish the inside of the nipple was beveled inward because the weed trimmer cord kept getting caught on the end of the nibble instead of reaming out the center hole where the clog was.

    Hey your video helped soooo much! Thank you so much! Was there any more leaking with not having the seal/oring to put back on? I destroyed mine as well and i know the water damage has already been done, I can not remove my entire seat and carpeting lol but hoping there wont be more puddles. Even after watching the video that plug was a b to get out!!

      I'm glad to hear that help in some way. So, to this day, I have not had another leak.

    I just bought a siphon hand pump from amazon, filled up a bucket of water then disconnected drained tube thats connected to plug in firewall. Connect the outlet side of siphon to the firewall plug, then put hose from inlet side of siphon into bucket of water. Then just pump away till water comes out from outside of vehicle. I did all 4 corners for the low low price of 19.99 hahahahhaha

      I brought one too yesterday. I used it as an air pump.

    Hi Rob-thanks for the video! My issue on my 2013 Altima is slightly different but related. I believe my drain tube underneath the cowl that’s partially blocked. By chance do you have any footage of what it looked like when you took off the cowl?

    What's considered a reasonable price for getting all 4 drainage tubes replaced in today's inflationary times?

    Flush it with a Red Hand Pump and some water. Can get the red hand pump from something like AutoZone, or O'Reilly's ... Napa?
    You force water through it.
    Would of saved you a ton of time.

    Did you also notice water on your rear driver side floor? If so, did this fix that as well? Thanks.

      I'm having that issue now. Were you able to resolve yours?

    • @alikhad
      @alikhad Před rokem

      Yes. Both the passenger and driver side was leaking . First I fixed the passenger side, was still getting water so check the drivers side and same thing. Once I fixed that no more water. Make sure you also clear your sunroof drain line.
