Upper Deck is still like 2 years behind on releases, but they can sure crank out Bedard content on time
I wonder if U.D. waits to see who needs to be a redemption before releasing certain products. It might bother them that 3rd parties make money on the resale of boxes and cases, just a few years after release.

Mvp is for me nostalgic, since I like the 90s cards and the first mvp years cards were really cool,but unfortunately the value of the mvp cards is really low, but thats what you get for the series thats the lowest price selling......

Connor Bedard young gun cards will be so over printed. They will be the Wander Franco of hockey.
You mean it’ll be the young guns of upper deck? They’re always overprinted, won’t matter if it’s Bedard, Kaprizov, Seider or McDavid. All base YGs are overprinted, saying that like Bedard changes anything is funny.

@sam31444 I can't blame upperdeck deck on over printing the cards. They just want to make money. I'd do the same thing if I owned upper deck. People will buy it regardless. I stopped collecting hockey I find there is way more value in , Football, Basketball, and Baseball cards.

Its not a rookie card. Its a 1st overall draft pick card. Will still have crazy value though. Especially until Series 2 comes out early next year as that will be his real Rookie card.

Nice to have actual 2023-24 cards out right before the season of 2023-24 starts. Also, why is P. Kane still on the 'Hawks, and R. O'Reilly still on the blues-they were traded at the deadline-BO Excuse for not having the teams they ended the season with.
the # 2024 is money, so they cheat and have been cheating for years.
if you are dipping into the year before it even starts and selling previous yèar work, its just a cash grab
MVP has always been underwhelming
The one thing I hate about all these hobby box openings is showing the back of the ice battles. There are so many and I do not care. That and they are always in front of the cards I want to see.

Some of the inserts in this set are great but the base is just ugly. If you like this then more power to you but the font, the design, its all just visually really not very nice. Beddard hunt for me will come later it seems
this year's base is a big upgrade from last year, i dont like how ice battles cards are the same color as base now though
