- This took a while to figure out, but deserts are actually playable in Standard alonside Bonny Pall. This is a tough deck to play, but a good, fun one the MTG Arena ladder.

The first opponent says your go as if the game isn’t moving fast enough for him, yet he is the one playing the control deck….
I love control. But the audacity of some control players. They get to do all the thinking but God forbid anyone else does.
3 years I’ve been playing against Selesneya enchantments, I didn’t even like it when it brand new, you cannot fathom how sick of it I am now
It's definitely beatable, but you need an early removal or counter with this deck or it'll just be a bad matchup. There's a deck that's going to give everything fits.
The good news is I only even run into that deck maybe once or twice a week now. I think things like Temporary lockdown and Path of Peril have kinda put it on ice a bit.
Tried the list with the Tranquil Frillback and so far it has felt great. Even using it to target the opponent with an empty grave on turn 4 to trigger the Freestrider Lookout to ramp into a turn 5 Bonny Pall feels great. It can even be on turn 4 if a Azusa's was played on turn 2 and your draws were great.
Yeah, I forgot to mention that is another crime trigger as a bonus feature. But it really does help with a few tough matchups.
Did you test Blossoming Tortoise in this list? Seems like a good way to ramp into Bonny and also get lands into the yard to recure.
I played a couple of games with it, but it's jsut not what you want. We're not playing a ton of creature lands. And ramping into Bonne Pall sooner isn't always what you want. In many cases you want them to mess around killing other things and let her bat cleanup.

For my version personally, I don't think it brings much to the table, nor does the deck desprately need a limited sized 3mv creature the way it's built. It's even in the 3rd color with the super light splash. That card has uses, but not here. At least for me.

True. Might explain why Bill is so prickly if Bonny is clearing all the 🌵 as well
With all the mana you're generating have you considered a copy or two of March of Otherworldly? I know it misses planeswalkers but it does avoid the map tokens
Not really. I wanted more of the relevant creatures to max out the desserts. And then returning from that doesn't do anything sadly.
But feel free to play it. It's not a bad card.
Not what I'd expect from the list. I expected more infinite combos when a deck has both blue, and green, in it.
It's a bunch of creature comboes that resulted in more damage being done.
This is more Simic big stuff/Simic ramp.
