- Roger Reaves is a former pilot and drug smuggler who employed Barry Seal & ended up in prison for 33 years in 26 different prisons, in 7 different countries spanning 4 continents. His friends and associates spanned the globe. From Medellin Cartel kingpins Jorge Ochoa and Pablo Escobar; to "Mr Nice" Howard Marks and the infamous Barry Seal who was Rogers close friend and employee. In his early 30’s he was making over $1 million a day flying back and forth to Colombia and he eventually hired Barry Seal, and Roger gives vivid details to their relationship up to the very end of Barry’s life. Roger escaped from prison on five separate occasions; was shot down in both Mexico and Colombia; and tortured almost to death in a Mexican prison.

I could listen to Roger all day.
Me too, if he’d let Roger talk 🤷♂️
Me too with a different interviewer. It’s like Forest Gumps asking the questions
I wonder if he's a singer ?!?
I wonder if he's a singer ?!?
Rogers book smuggler is fascinating.he narrates the audible book it's like sitting next to him while he tells you his life story .it's 24 hrs all killer no filler
What a cool guy! Loved listening to you Roger. Great cast guys!
When he describes his vision turning yellow when his plane and himself was shot down, i felt that. It happened to me during a traumatic experience but my vision was green instead of yellow. My therapist told me it's your brain trying to mask the experience to protect your consciousness. I wonder what other colors you can see in a near death experience.
First time hearing that very interesting. Been in a few near deaths but never had that happen, it’s either panic or calm
My dad was a run runner before he had a drivers license in the 70’s in Kentucky. Far as I know he was good enough to never get shot at. He was certainly never caught.
Gotta make a movie about him
Inn times of crisis, you want Roger at your side.
In ;)
Rode a donkey 7 miles after being shot up....this is just one crazy story of 100
He has such a relaxed cool jovial, happy go lucky demeanor.
Amazing stories man. 🔥
what a cool guy
This guy must have loads of great stories
Roger is great, the interviewer however talks like a kardashian 🙄
He's used up more lives than a cat and can still laugh about it all.
he did 33 years for weed so half of his life too
That was an insane story holly shit that should be a movie 💯 greatest police escape in history!
Miraculous that he lived to tell the tale !
This guy is a great story teller, I think even parts of it might be true.
When someone doesn't have to inflate a story because it's crazy enough
I want this guy to fly me on vacation
Is there a full interview with him ?
Lex Fridman podcast
This kid interviewing him seems like he’s not very good at interviewing people
And he didn't go to Las Vegas, when he got back to LA?
Did he ever look up the Mexican peasant farmer for all his help and risk.
Dude you’re too young to understand half of what this old timer says 😂
Not buying it
I mean not everyone does 33 years for no reason 🤷🏽♂️

@@bbankhead9576 Well Goofy Head , i am sure he did ruin a lot of lives, hes not a hero , or cool .
Nobody ruins more lives then democrsts who devalues the currency and wrecks economies of the whole planet that made this possible
No matter how well he tells a story, he is still a crook who ruined people's lives.
