I'd probably pick the same. Tbh, I still to this day can't understand how can you possibly lose that matchup as Sagat, imo it is extremely one sided. Alex Valle has done the impossible.

AGEOJOE's set against FChamp will always be goated. Dude came in and beat the EVO champ with the lowest tier team possible. Never saw him again.
He's better known as a Guilty Gear player, he goes by Kusoru and his Sol Badguy is the most belligerent Sol you will ever see
Apparently he didn't like how negative the American players reacted to his playstyle so he never came back.

whats funny is Flipino champ could of contested the game cuss Ageojoe paused while mashing. even thogh he graurente won it, he could of lost if Flipino challanged that pause.

Champ was giving him the win , he was respectful , you see him with the smile and the way he signal with his finger 1 and his opponent.

They patched it out by giving him a random knockdown hadouken that would end the combo. It was a minor buff in some ways though
@@bones4609it was meant to be a patch to the infinite, but sin e the infinite itself is wack and Dan is wack, they decided to give him a random chance to throw an enhanced fireball that launches on hit just to up the wackiness
It was merged out of the game but upon Dan's release, he was the only character with an infinite

It's not so much an underdog moment per se but Infil picking Hakan against PR Balrog in that one match will always be iconic. It was a master stroke counter pick with a rarely seen low-tier character who nobody used in tournaments, much less any top 8 major, and Infil pulled it off.
Also, CeroBlast's OCV against the Japanese gods at Canada Cup, one by one, is wildly overlooked since it's an almost cinematic comeback. Someone posted a digest of the whole thing on CZcams and even though it's SFV, that whole thing was hype af. Highly recommended, folks.
I love how Ageojoe/Kusoru just sort of singlehandedly changed the way the NA MvC3 scene looked at the game.

The best time for the fgc was when champ played marvel 3. Used to bet on marvel at all the tournys amd the hype was at all time high.

Don't trip, man, the only thing that changed was the shift toward esports which inherently comes with heeding corporate sponsors and entities. It has nothing to do with woke anything; the arcade and homegrown local days died a while ago regardless. The times naturally shift for better or worse and that's been nothing new since forever.
