Actually old thamizh preserved a lot of proto dravidian features. Like grammar and vocabulary. Being a thamizhan and a poet, I can understand a lot of old thamizh words and literary works. And words shown in this video are used in modern thamizh as well. In early middle thamizh the grammar was improved a lot. Eventhough we know a lot of old words we use them only while writing and not in spoken. I appreciate your effort to make this video bro. @@anandsai9378 no bro. Old thamizh preserved proto dravidian grammar. Actually thamizh grammar is elaborated only in middle thamizh era.
Like proto dravidian , old thamizh also had only two tenses ( past and non past) also verbs are complement or person will be added to noun at last like Proto dravidian. Eg. மாணவனேன் ( maanavanaen )- literally "I am student"
ஆண்களேம் ( aangalaem) - we are men.
Noun comes last verb comes first
நடப்பல் யான் ( nadappal yaan)- I will walk
In modern days we use modern standard thamizh with a mix of middle thamizh and old thamizh.
