- Truth of Hero drama track Animated! (with an extra footage! XD)
It's done! Took longer than expected. On the first week of doing this, I got sick that I work on and off on this stuff and thought of not continuing it anymore. But then, when I hear Copy X theme. I get eager to animate this track. A year ago, I thought of animating this track but told myself it's impossible! I can't do it! I'm not skilled yet. I thought it's better to animate with sprites, though it may seem cheap...but every time I hear the "Truth of hero" drama track and Copy X "Fake" theme. I keep visualizing this track into my mind. Imagining how the scene would look like. I keep thinking and thinking of this thing that It motivates to do this. After I did my previous animation Megaman Servbot, I finally had the confidence to animate this track. By the fourth week of January, I start animating the track full time. I did redesigns of the characters and change the setting. Zero having blue eyes and an extra armor part on his leg and Copy X with an armor similar to Model X. Since the track anticipates a battle with Copy X in his second form. I decided to merge his 1st form and 2nd form so I could incorporate Copy X 1st form. There's also a little change with the story. While animating the scenes and cleaning up the drawings. It's quite grueling. I think It's better If I work 4-6 hrs. a day than whole day or else it would be exhausting. I feel this is more of a test of patience rather than the skill. It may seem tiring sometimes and gets annoying especially when software crashes, but I love what I'm doing. This is my passion and that's the reason why I keep doing it even though sometimes I feel weary. A month passed and I'm done. Suddenly, I remember the time when I thought this is impossible for me to do. It make's me happy that I did something which I thought was not possible.

@@subjectdei6869 Heck, by the time of the Zero series X could solo Omega and Copy X at the same time without any of his armors. That's why the writers decided to completely sideline - and ultimately kill - Mega Man X. Having him around would essentially render Zero's journey moot, because X could've just stepped in to defeat the big bads at any time.

Damn. We REALLY need an anime for this series. I always found it strange that in the MMZ series, Ciel and Zero are the ones that are viewed as mavericks until the end of Z4, and Copy X was viewed as a true hero and leader.

I Always Agree with Zero When he Calls Copy X Weak cause mostly he doesnt seem very Powerful even his Seraph Armor is one of his Strongest Armor but not very Powerful or Stronger than X's Armors. If im correct the Original X is 100× Stronger than His Copy self without even using his Single Armor, X have Grown beyond since X Series and Now he doesn't need armor to fight his enemy but only use when he needs it.
And thats why Zero knows Everything About his Old Friend and how he Have grown for hundred years while he was Sealed away.

...That was originally supposed to be the _original_ X, not a copy. It worked out better, though, a copy constantly having to live up to the original's image is bound to go at least a little nuts.

+MrOmegatronic Copy X is the perfect copy of the original X tho. It's just that he doesn't have the original X's combat experience and the trial testing Dr.Light put the original X through.

I love the animation, but I was a little put off by everyone watching X's transformation broadcast live. You can clearly see it being put up in front of civilians (Ciel's in disguise, and Elpizo's [I think that's him?] making a cameo presumably before he defected and helped relocate the resistance), but Copy X's battle (and subsequent defeat) was only known to the resistance and the highest levels of Neo Arcadia.
None of the Neo Arcadian civilians knew of his death; everyone pretended he was still there, and Harpuia became the de facto ruler from the shadows, at least until Weil showed up. He was just too big of a symbol to be lost like that, so Neo Arcadia pulled one over on their citizens. This would be...less than possible if everyone witnessed him blowing up.
(It does make for a cooler scene though, I'll grant you that)

@@Rio..o7.. first off, the fake body that Zero was using also fought alongside X in the Elf War, and in fact defeated Omega by using Final Strike with X
Secondly, it was his way of saying that although he doesn't remember how X really was, it is engraved in him, as a faded experience, that the Original X was mightier, and much less naive

The copy does look naive, but doesn't act or sound like it, he's really confident in his power and ideal, in contrast to X, who is a pacifist, X usually try to negotiate and hesitate to make the hard choice or the killing move unless he has to ( which is probably the reason why he's a B rank hunter), some mavericks also say he is naive, but he still willing to fight for justice and end the war with minimum casualties

X: At last you are here, Zero... It has been too long, old friend...
ZERO: You... You must be X. No... you're different. I feel it. You changed.
X: It was necessary. Even after all the wars have ended, free willed mavericks continued to plague our world. In order to restore peace, I had to put behind my conscience and give it my all. Now Zero... Take a good look around. If it wasn't for your influence, I would still have worried about the Mavericks, about the constant question of right and wrong.
In this age, both Reploids and Humans have found now peace. In Neo Arcadia, our utopia. This is what you, me and our fallen comrades always wished for...
ZERO: This is an utopia that you created at the cost of countless innocent Reploids... Have you gone blind, that you cannot see what you're doing? This isn't peace X! It's a farce!
X: That may be, but after everything we went through, this was the only choice left to me. Do you understand Zero? I cannot, I will not allow it to happen again.

As interesting it would have been to have the original X be the villain of Megaman Zero 1, I'm glad they went with Copy X instead. X turning evil IMHO would have completely butchered his character because the whole point of X was to show why he was different from the rest of the Reploids. Not to mention it would have made Dr. Light's 30 year test on him completely pointless as part of his backstory. That was the main reason why X never turned Maverick because unlike the other Reploids, Dr. Light had done an extensive test on him to prevent that from happening.
That and having a copy of X was a great way to show a contrast between the two when it came to their personalities and morality. I understand what Inafune was going for, but this works much better because what X ended up doing instead fits his character to a T compared to him getting so obsessed with peace he did a mass genocide of Reploids just to stop the fighting. But that's just my take on this.
Interesting take, I feel like after zero beats X, X would come to his senses and laugh at how foolish he was and how far he's fallen and instead of pulling a suicide attack like copy X, zero would engage X in a conversation about their old adventures. Zero would console X until he passes away in his arms.
Something a long the lines of;
X&ZERO: *Having a conversation about the past remembering axel alia signas and the gang and having a laugh*
X: Oh and remember that time.... *x's eyes go dark mid conversation*
Zero: *realising that X has passed away* Rest in peace old friend

I feel like Fefnir would be excited to watch the fight, or at least angry that he couldn't stop Zero from reaching "X" himself. Leviathan and Harpuia are portrayed perfectly in this and how you said they should be. Phantom would probably be similar to Harpuia but with a more "I don't care" attitude like Fefnir is doing in this. Phantom is more willing to obey "X" than any of his siblings, whom if you remember wanted to object but decided against it. Phantom would just go, "...Understood." or something like that.
Despite how Fefnir and Leviathan act, it makes it hard to believe they were born from X himself. I wouldn't expect a battle nerd's or a flirtatious ice queen's personality coming from a pacifist like X...

Holy shit dude, I wish you could do an entire series. The animation is amazing, but what stands out to me even more is the storyboarding you've done! Everything, from the spectators, to the layout of Neo Arcadia, to Ciel trying to blend in with the crowd, it's amazing!
