For making it I used polymer clay (my favorite brands: Premo, Fimo, Cernit, and Sculpey), Sculpey sculpting tools, Soft pastels, Sculpey liquid clay/ Fimo Gel.

Hey, thank you for sharing this! I'm really into those miniature DIY dollhouses but two kits I just got require you to make some of the food by hand, and that part has no clear tutorial or even any sculpting tools included so I was kinda lost. So you're a lifesaver!

Question, how are you able to reuse the brush after using the liquid clay? I tried last time and I ruined the brush lol
I have a dedicated brush, and use for working with liquid clay only. I clean it with rubbing alcohol.😉

Thank you! No, you don't have to use resin. I use matte varnish just to be sure. But it is not necessary! The clay absorbs pastels very well! 🌷

Yes, I do (for a couple minutes). It was easier for me. Except for onion and pickle layers: I put the upper bun on these raw layers. 🌷

Thank you! I'm happy this video was helpful! How I made the onion slices: I mixed a tiny piece of white clay with translucent clay; mixed a tiny piece of purple with translucent. Then I placed the first clay mix on the top of another and stretch it like making the cane (try to keep its square shape while stretching). I showed this onion slice before stretching and after in this video. I hope this will help! 🌷
