hey girls uh. did you know that...dean embodies hunger? and that despite all he consumes and claims he isn't hungry, he has been food-insecure and affection-insecure his entire life? and that as much as he consumes, it's never feeding his hunger for genuine fulfillment? he can try to fill the hole with junk food and alcohol and physical fights and sex but it won't come close to the affection and sustenance and healing he needs and craves and ignores.

This is perfection... I've just remembered the scene where Dean gives Sammy the last bowl of the cereal in the flashback. That would fit so well with the literal part of the hunger. But this video is so great in showing how touch and affection starved he really is. Love it!
