Wow, what a finale!
While I do have some minor issues about the episode, I do think it was a GREAT finale and that it can be a fantastic start for a wonderful last season.
The twist with God being the bad guy was honestly incredible and for once the writers really did something we weren't expecting them to.
I loved the amount of emotional Sam scenes we got. The scenes with God were absolutely amazing and both Jared and Rob did such an incredible job.
Seeing Sam so hurt really destroyed me tho, because he's always had such faith and having it destroyed like that hurt.
Oh and of course I LOVED the sam&dean scene in Dean's room. J2 were fantastic as always and the scene absolutely killed me. Damn Jared and his puppy dog eyes :'(
About the video, some parts probably turned out rushed, but I made it in less than a day, so I'm pretty happy with the result :')

Oh my God, "Saturn" and all "Dean's sacrifices" stories = a perfect combination. Especially with song's lyrics in my head and the episode, when Dean was talking to his mom, explaining how he practically raised Sammy, that speech in the Church when Sam tried to finish the trials...it's just popping in my head like fireworks with an endless list of other episodes and scenes. The way was so long for both of them....

I don't ship wincest but I believe that the relationship between Sam and Dean is not just of brothers. I dont know how to name it but they are each other's everything and you take away everything from them and they survive but losing one another is when they truly become who they are not.
@@forireadandfly4873 Same! Like I do not and will never ship wincest but what they have is different than any sibling relationship. They have lost their mom and dad twice, Cas many times,Jack,Jo,Ellen,Charlie,Kevin,Eileen and so many more close friends. They have said that when people get close to them they either die or go away because they don't want to die. They have basically lost everyone they have cared about and when they do it hurts so bad but they always have eachother. They plan revenge,distants themselves,cry,but they move on. I am not saying they forget about them but they know they're happy and in a better place.(Except for Kevin) But the only thing they can't lose is eachother. They are each others constant. I feel like if the other is planning on sacrifice themselves ( mostly Dean) the other one is the only one who can talk them out of it. Like you said you really don't have a word for them they are just closer than anyone I have ever seen.Sorry for it being so long I had to cut myself off but I really do believe that they have something rare and special! I always being soooo confused about Jack. God I love him so much but he brings chaos, he can be so easily manipulated/he so powerful and he still ,no matter how accidentaly or manipulated it was, he killed people.Plus now he doesn't have soul what at least a little helped him understood what is bad. I even don't know how Cas Sam and Dean supposed to save him, without grace he is dead/ he can't be in heaven just bc the Empty too wants him, tell him what is bad what is good impossible, at least u can't tell everything. No one can help him control his power just bc no one has idea what is it, here really vicious circle

I began supernatural by watching random eps in each season but not in order. I watched season 8 before watching most of the older eps and was sad when season 8 Sam didn’t look for his bro after purgatory because Dean would go to hell and back for Sam but Sam seemed not as much.
**However I realized this was more of a error by the writers because when I went back and watched the earlier seasons consecutively, it actually had Sam caring about Dean just as much as Dean cared about Sam!** So I feel like season 8 was just a hiccup on the character by the writers and I try to forget about it lol
I don’t watch the show religiously anymore but *what I do love in the recent episodes I have seen is how they wrote Sam back to being the caring brother he was in the earlier seasons and like even more than that.* Sam and Dean are equivalent now in doing anything for the other and I LOVE that

I actually think that he didn't look for his brother because he went through a mental shutdown when he didn't know where Dean went. He just froze and so didn't look for him. If you observe everything he did that year before Dean got back its like it wasn't really him. Then he got back to being himself again soon after Dean returned.

Wow the parallel scenes throughout this are amazing. All of the "you and me" and them being there for each other esp when it came to holding each other back from the ledge when needed are perfect and exactly what I hope to see in the final season. I'm really hoping to see more of Dean and Sam together, the two of them, fighting evil together next season and it to be the two of them in the end, however it does end. Jared and Jensen did great in that scene together, Dean ready to sacrifice himself again was just that final step to make Sam say no this can't happen. All of the losses have been weighing on Sam this season especially and I'm glad they addressed that. Great job as always.

Ok I am gonna just curl up in the corner and cry now Mia. This was beautiful. Is it me or when Sam starts to tear up before walking out of the room, did it seem real emotion because we know how hard it was for them to decide it was the end of the ride? We have loved this show and have been blessed to enjoy this ride with them. The next season will be the absolute hardest one and even if they have funny episodes, I will still be crying in the corner knowing it’s one more done till the series ends.
