The last one agreed to a plea deal. That usually entails a lighter sentence. Also the details of that case weren’t outlined. However if you want consistency we’d have to turn the entire legal system over to the federal government. Sentencing options vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction even within a county or state let alone other states. There are no blanket guidelines.
They should get people more for planning and coercing others to do their dirty work. Anyone can be a grunt and pull the trigger people like that should get twice as long
