- I am at Mini Burger + in Cookeville, TN where they have a new slider challenge called The Mini Burger Challenge. This challenge consists of 25 mini burgers that can be ordered with or without cheese and topped however you want. It also comes with a plate of fries and a 24oz drink. There is a 45 minute time limit and if I can complete it I will get the $45 meal for free, become the first winner, get my name and photo on their Wall of Fame, and get an awesome T-shirt! Thank you to my friend Ethan Teske for telling me about this delicious challenge!

Hi Eli - I knew you would be able to do that challenge easily. And seeing you do it in less than 17 minutes probably encouraged the others to try. Way to go Matt as well. You two complete the challenge, get your meals for free, then they close permanently... Coincidence??? LOL

I wasn’t expecting the pickles to be on the outside of the bun, and had no idea they’d keep the buns nice and soft. Thanks for the food challenge tip 😉

They were a great group and I hated hearing of their closing especially after being around for so long.
I'm from Chicago, we have a local "drunken night special" here called White Castle, I think southern or Eastern states have Krystal? Smaller steamed onion and pickle sliders just like this. When I was like 18, we would all have one too many and do "crave case challenges" 30 sliders in a suit case type box. Hahaha. Definitely completed one or two in my day. But never in 45 minutes hahaha.
I love the crave case challenge! We have White Castle here in southern Indiana but south of us there are Krystals. I believe they are very close except they add mustard.

If I did this challenge, I'm a ketchup guy, so would ask for ketchup to put on the fries. As a "normal eater", I would get cheese on sliders, but would be too filling, so just like you had them is how I would eat them. You're right, pickles on the top probably helped with the challenge. Edit: I like that "can't do it" near the end LOL. 🤣

This was a great restaurant.
I stopped on a 24’ box truck delivery route for lunch at White Castle. Ate a 30 pack just to see if I could finish it. I sure did. Had a 4 hour drive back to Akron. Thank Goodness for an air seat ☺️(Cheese & Diced Onion are how they came prepared)

I'd do cheese on all but 5, w/ ketchup, mustard and onion on the hamburgers. Cheeseburgers I'd get 5 with BBQ, 5 ketchup only, 5 mustard only and the last 5 with ketchup and mustard.

It’s too bad this place is not open any longer as would love to have tried this one. Hope you rocked it at Big Dog’s pizza as I’m sure you killed it, no problem. Wish I could have been there with ya, but had family stuff already planned. Have a great weekend’

We have Krystal down in the dirty south(Memphis area) where I grew up. I have learned how to make them on a sheet pan since I moved to Little Rock several years ago because we don’t have Krystal around here. I like the standard onion, mustard and pickle
Yeah, up here (Indiana) we only have White Castle. They do pickle and onion only, mustard is added by the customer.

I like the fact that they put the pickles on the outside as well so you can eat them by themselves cuz I like pickles but I don't like them on a burger I can eat them all day long on the side but I don't like I'm on a burger so that's really interesting🎉

White something or other came out here in Scottsdale, i spent 3 hours waiting to order on opening night, damn them things were awful, cold, yuck, fries were cold. I don't know why people keep going back. them looked tasty. I would have mine without onions, but I think i would add lettuce n may. meanie you didn't show the T shirt sniff LOL have a great weekend.
