she has mp now? her entire thing was not having any mp and her power had to be derived from the eskalade. i wonder how the beginning cutscene will play out or if it's the same but it just gives her mp now

You didn't mention that their origin skill got hit with omeganerf (instant part does like 18% less damage, and the balloons lost almost half of their damage), or the fact that in terms of base stats they lost 21% cdmg to gain 2% fd.
As it currently stands, their damage output is about the same as before. Some guy on inven actually reported a 1% loss in FD, although they also admitted that they haven't gotten used to the new 60s identify of the reskinned class yet. All in all though this remaster ends up feeling more like a reskin where the class didn't really get stronger, and the way it plays didn't really change, it just got a lot more pink hearts than before.

3:53 The invincibility effect on soul resonance means that the first 2 seconds of the skill has invincibility and you can see it as the tiny spinning star above the character.
good remaster honestly, hopefully the hero classes get some remasters next, they all look so old compared to the newer classes now. Phantom needs a remaster more than anyone else by far, Wild hunter and kaiser are also in need of remasters, basically all heroes and resistance and kaiser

I still love aran a lot, wouldnt want them to really change much if anything honestly, same with Evan, but all the other heros definitely
@@CorruptSaberz agreed Aran’s beyond blade looks great but i think they could make it even better, little more flashy, and crisp, and widen the range, they could improve arans mobility as well, their other 1st-4th job skills could be improved as well but overall yea aran is definitely not as much in need as other hero classes for remaster, Evan i think could definitely use a remaster for 1st-hyper skills, definitely lacking imo, obviously everyones 5th job is relatively new so no need to change those
Phantom is actually quite good esp in kms problem is impeccable memory isn't compatible with 5th/ 6th job mastery core system there are way too many nodes for it. Also it requires way more stat than most classes to shine and a cdr hat
Last time I played I co-mained AB and Kain. I gotta say I'm disappointed that they got rid of recharge in favor of MP. Since the recharge chance became 100% by the end of 4th job I figured the best way to revamp the class would be to add a buffed version of those skills that had to be recharged instead.
love this remaster asf. since Cadena and Kain don’t rly need remasters, i’m wishful thinking they go with Kaiser for the second date since he was released close to AB and reveal the Nova mage for the third; finally class completed

As an AB main, I look how it looks but not a 100% I like the changes.
i feel like they have to do kaiser after this but hey i am insanly happy that my main got remaster and all the problems i have will be gone around summer
I experience the problem with the hitbox with Xenon as well with one of the 4th job skills annoying indeed great video like always !

Didn't she already have pretty much always full gauge by the time you maxed out her Hyperskills though? Wouldn't things costing MP instead of using her gauge actually just make the class use more resources, by having to use MP pots too?
Yes, but the recharge system still procked every attack making an annoying sound, making it hard to play with sound on. So I see it as a good thing personally

It makes it much more beginner friendly. Getting her up to 100 was pure torture.

Super excited for it. I was once an AB main and still really enjoy playing the class so I'll be excited to pick her up again, maybe re-main her we will see. I'm especially pleased with some of the first and second job skill effect upgrades, kinda sad my AB is already 211 and won't be using them lol

Visually this is my favorite class bc she's pink and cute, basically everything that i like. I rlly liked this revamp so far. The animations being too long is also an issue for me, 3rd job sucks. But hey, we got new and better animations now :3 hope my AB becomes stronger.

Does the active summon soul seeker "aim down" in terms of castability? Currently is uncastable if a mob is in a lower platform, but it can be casted if a mob is above.
The only issue I have at present is that the numbers for our BA have gone down due to changes in our overall passive spread and also our origin skill getting nerfed. Here’s hoping they fix that, I guess!

I actually preferred the recharge system. I like that some classes have an alternative resource. Which is why I like Demon Slayer so much, fury is fun and adds to the class fantasy.
Asking for clarification. Will mighty mascot deal the same amount of dmg just compressed? And, will sparkle burst be more of a burst skill?
i didnt do the theoretical damage calculations - be it for 5th or 6th job. But the fact that Mighty Mascot no longer needs to be charged and the full damage is dealt over 1.8s should be a huge win for AB

i was leveling this class today with 0 to 100 to grab lvl 1 terms and conditions. and felt the class sucked especially cause of the recharge mechanic. im glad they are changing it

there are lots of people who claim that she actually lost a lot of dmg, i havent done the calculations myself but I hope she actually will have gained some fd by the time she hits the servers.
Personally im not a big fan though of the rework, they only changed one skill that i can see, the rest are just visual upgrades. And still no summon. I was really excited for this class getting some much needed love

you sound really distraught over the hammer loss, as nice as it looked, they devs seemingly are trying to push towards attacks which look more fluid, so chunky big skill wasn't gonna fly, it's a little sad that they're also pushing towards a small subset of skills so it isn't variety in choice
besides that, i just can't get over the fact that they decided to give her heart eyes, as if something NSFW is about 2 start

Ever since her beta they removed more and more of the dragon aesthetic sadly.
They removed the hammer and the big stupid numbers. I wouldn't be able to justify playing this class if I started today. I always thought it was more of a tongue in cheek joke, but I was wrong and they're taking her aesthetic in earnest, and so the yassification continues. It seems they were a parody of old magical girl tropes, now it's more like a nod to genshin impact and the graceful colour-vector focussed aesthetic of new games in the Asian market.
Gameplay wise I think relatively they haven't changed much, except for adding an MP bar which I will touch upon that later.
Outside of that and the songs from the mini-album however.. everything else about the remaster though I am both concerned and disappointed.
The 2023 design is what threw me off the most. I didn't like the sudden increase in focus on the pink pastel aesthetic, cause it now looks like they're looking for an excuse to add pink and more purple in a design that honestly doesn't need those colors, as well as-- in my opinion, the unnecessary details in the new design (the hearts on the hair pin and the soul shooter which btw the soul shooter looks drastically softer than what it was). The light blue in the hair was an interesting change however and I would've loved to see how they would change the original design a little bit with the blue highlights in the hair.
I also understand and agree with the people who also disliked the new design: they're slowly trying to take away the dragon/nova aesthetics out of her (the horn parts on the shoes, the sharp design of the soul shooter, making the draconic parts of her skills less prominent). I get she's an idol and all, but she's also a pirate class, a hero, Eskalade's warrior (which for those who do not know he's the god of Grandis AFAIK).
AB's old design was colorful, but consistent, with the colors complimenting the overall design. I LOVED the dragon/nova aesthetics in her design. It had a certain flair to it while also keeping her pretty and cute.
AB's 2023 is quite literally becoming a generic and quite honestly one of those copycat designs you see in some mobile games and what I find it most saddening as a AB main: the design doesn't make me think of a dragon magical girl (idol) that can kick ass, but just another generic Vtuber idol.
I really hope that design only is present in this update/mini-album thing, cause she has the most drastic change in design outside of the different version of the explorer classes (warrior, archer, etc.)
I do wonder how the Korean Maplers feel about the design and to any Korean maplers who are reading this: are there others from that side of the maplestory community that feel the same thing and if so are the maplers who complain about the design a minority or not?
I also hope that the story is somewhat the same as Eskalade (the blue dragon companion) was the one who caused Tear (the character we play) to become Angelic Buster in the first place and he is the reason why she's able to use the magical abilities she has now as she doesn't have any magic to begin with, hence the fact that she didn't have an MP bar to begin with. I personally hope that we're keeping Eskalade as a companion. As perverted as he can get, he brought a comedic side to Angelic Buster's story and AB without Eskalade is...Well, I don't know. I don't know how Tear would become Angelic Buster in the first place if Eskalade wasn't here to allow her to become AB. He was the reason she also became an idol in the first place, right?
P.S: Sorry if this is long and ranty. I'm just worried about the future of this class from a design and lore perspective as it feels like this could be a change so big that we're almost looking at another class entirely lore wise. (Honestly if they want a class that goes full idol couldn't they have made a new class? I'd like to see a new maplestory character who's also an idol joining with Angelic Buster in a performance.)
I hope they remaster Battle Mage cause the animation is still the one from 2010 😢
If Phantom is not in the next 3 remasters, I’m really sad. Nice AB remaster tho. They corrected a lot of flaws.
why in the world are we getting mp?
Final contract is so dated but didnt get an update. the attack is good when bossing but the crit rate is really bad considering that it cant be effected by cooldown reduction or buff duration due to its 30 second duration and 120 second cooldown. Its good for early game bossing because you dont have much crit rate and any crit rate even temp will help but its horrible for late game crit rate cause ur optimizing for 100% crit all the time u lose half the effect and u only get the decent attack buff.
This could be fine along with other extra crit rate effects if Bowmens vicious critical was a common skill across all classes like holy symbol. (i dont think bowmen hitting crits is a fitting theme unlike everybody else i think that belongs to theif and then warrior far more than bowmen personally but i live with it in the game)

I think it's because Jett isn't a KMS class and Angelic Buster is. Jett I think was just an entirely GMS class. You can't rework classes you never made in the first place.

All of her original skills had that genuine dragon's nest dragon motif/art style, they're all but gone now save for trinity.
the mechanical changes were essential in the climate of classes maple is at currently.
the visuals are questionable. sure they seem more like a thematically matching "set", but its too shiny, and her overall character seem much more "cutesy" than spunky.
she used to be an idol, but now shes more like a child star... its a matter of personal taste i guess...
