He needs help and the only way to help him is to go in disguise to an AA Meeting by yourself because the main Alcoholic is not going to go. You see the thing is that Alcoholism doesn't just affect the Alcoholic it infects the whole family. I really don't understand why anyone in that family isn't going to any AA meetings and just to see or listen in quiet to others that are going through the same thing. My God this Man needs help if you go then eventually he will go just go with a mask on and listen. ALL THE MONEY IN The WORLD IS NOY GOING TO HELP HIM IT IS YOU YOU SAY YOU LOVE HIM THEN HELP HIM. GO BY YOUR SELF AND LISTEN DON'T LET NOONE KNOW.
I don't know about today but it used to be that it was Al-anon for family support. I went in the 90's when trying to deal with my ex. They also helped me and my son get into counseling on a sliding scale! This info is for anyone looking to get support! My family doctor provided the information. Like AA you need NO money to attend and back in the 90's they had meetings for children too, so you didn't need child care to attend. I don't know if things have changed, but it was a tremendous help!
