im thinking of getting a Fujitsu ESPRIMO E700 E90+ for very cheap and putting a 1050ti or rx 6400 in. Is that possible with the original 280 watt power supply and because of the old motherboard, is that gone slow it down?
I was genuinely surprised that A) the games ran and B) my head didn't explode watching it. I have a 1050ti paired with a i5-7400 on my potato Plex server so maybe I'll give it a try. FSR changes everything.

When u will be able to save up to upgrade make sure to look for bundles as they are great deals, look for i5 gen 10 atleast paired with an rtx 3060 for like 250$
Would this gpu 1050ti low profile work on a 240w psu dell optiplex 790. Ive done alot of research and im seeing different answers. I have an ssd and planning on disconnecting the dvd drive to save power.

Quite a lot, I have almost the exact same specs and you can play it quite smoothly. Especially if you’re on medium settings.

That CPU is insanely bottlenecking the GPU! So not getting the max performance out of it.
That's what you should know before buying this pair in 2023.
The i5-2400 is bottle necking the GTX 1050 Ti. Bump up to an i7-2600 or, even better i7-3770 and you can push it over the hump.
