This has got to be my favorite sax video and my favorite sax player of all time. Everything about this video is perfect...the lighting, the setting, the temperature, the music, the easily audible chat with Rachel, the not so easily audible conversation, even the second ending or reprise.
This is the video that made me go to school for music and 6 years later its still the reason I play the saxophone both for fun and professionally
PS the advantage to playing in the cold the air is denser and creates a crisper pop just a side note since he's playing below freezing
Yeah but this was recorded beforehand. The outside is only for the visuals and those clips at the end. No way he gets that kind of mic-ing and sound isolation of the percussion sounds outside a studio. Doesn’t diminish the talent by any stretch. Still impressive.
