What is Darkness Falls?
Darkness Falls is an overhaul mod for 7 Days to Die. It takes previous alpha features and combines them with some new. Making a challenging, fun and more rewarding experience.

Rizzo is nuts, but his overhaul is so crazy that it's amazing. I love the latest changes and additions that he's brought to the A21 edition of Joke Mod.
To use a rubber chicken as a weapon is just plain brilliant. Love the confetti after the clown explodes, too 👌
Laughed out loud a number of times 🤣
I only found out a day or so ago that the parking meter sledgehammer gives a few dukes every time you hit a monster with it. This mod has been pretty well thought out :)
Loved the video. Made me laugh a few times. Rizzo put a lot of work into V3 and it shows. Testing it has been fun. Not only did Rizzo add me to the credits but honored me by naming the sci-fi car after me.

I agree, the work put into this was hectic.
I really like the new perk tree. You can go directly to what you want without wasting a lot of points into an attribute and only wanting half of the skills within it.
Definitely agree with that. I find the perk trees so much better when the overhaul modders mess with them a bit to make them more balanced and streamlined.
Snow! Good stuff as always, been keeping up on your releases but I am always on my personal account so I don't comment lol. Always appreciate the thoroughness on these videos and all the work that goes into it. Being on the servers for these mods you cover, I see some of the detective work that goes into these, so once again, good work!

Explosive ammo looks awesome.
Oh yeah, it is really great to play around with. However, I found myself eventually liking other ammo as the explosive stuff does have AOE. Monsters getting too close means the rounds will damage you.

You know with all the clowns added im surprised they havent made a custom tier 5 circus poi that houses all kinds of silly clowns and other crazy things but i love the changes they made thus far it already got me laughing like crazy

We're working on new POIs and a circus or theme park has been discussed. I'm not positive but I think there's something along those lines already. I know there's a bounce house 😂

However, any content creator is doing that already. Some have much larger channels and get to a larger audience than me. I make money indirectly off the mod anyway just like any other channel. I appreciate that the mod devs do their mods as I would not have an income if they did not exist. I also appreciate that viewers like you come and watch. :)
So, my advertising is really just what other youtubers are already doing, just that this is my way of doing it. It really is just that my style is different, I guess.

Thanks for the detailed video. I really didn't understand this Mod until you made this one. Especially the stink that didn't even make sense. But you broke it down perfectly. As always the overhaul putting back a lot of the lame changes that the nerf pimps made is another endearing thing. I will definitely give this mod a try.

Second playthrough ever on Joke mod. On day 18 and just can't find any vehicles other than a bike. Just found my first one.. the unicorn. Never saw it before. The storage is incredible.
Yeah, that unicorn is pretty awesome. I have never actually got one, except through the cheat menu. :)
The clown car should have 108 person passenger compartment.

Yes, Joke Mod has come a long way. Since version 3 I feel it has been much more of an overhaul mod. Even if it is silly, the silliness has been done very well.

Yeah, I got the best and worst. That footage was taken from my first v3 attempt on playing, but my second one I did, I had the complete opposite, tier 1. :)

The only sad thing is they removed screamer heat from dew collectors, because that would have been a great dumb joke of "haha, your silent water gathering bothers the clown horde!" But then the devs put it in the real game like it was a good idea.
Also everything can be explosive looks fun as all get out.
Well, I don't know. You could argue that why hasn't it been done yet? I mean, there are so many options to increase the heat on. Never been done until players started creating large farms to fix their problem with water. So that helped prevent massive dew collector farms which meant players would need to find other options for their duct tape needs.
So, I really can't speak for Rizzo, but yeah, somethings just seem too much of a joke to be included in Joke Mod. :)
@@SnowBee I suppose, as an actual answer, that's very true. At the same time, why not balance it with, they need to be a certain distance apart, considering they don't make noise.
But also, because this video is for joke mod, forget that dev talk. I'm still chuckling trying to think of something being a subtle change in a mod with flying clowns and the rectal rooster ramrod.

It is my next mod. I have been dabbling with it for the past few weeks off and on. It is also the most difficult mod I have tried. Only because many of concepts and ideas are so different from other mods. Still, it is one of the best mods I have played, and I really enjoy it.

It's actually really fun when they have the Sorcery/DF together. They will eventually release a patch that includes both together.
Yeah, I have deliberately not played it with DF. I don't want the core essence of Sorcery to be influenced by DF, which changes many features in the game. However, I do think DF will certainly make things more difficult. I find the magic aspect of the mod makes things easier in some ways. I am not complaining, especially as magic is supposed to make things easier. Otherwise, why bother with magic. :)

At first I was planning not to play this mod. But now i feel interested in playing this mod. But I currently play Sorcery Mod, End Z and planing on play the Joke Mod and also Age of Oblivion Mod.
Hi Samuel. Definitely give Joke Mod a look. Along with Sorcery it has been around a while, but version 3 has seen it mature a lot with more features. The craziness in Joke Mod and Age of Oblivion certainly separates them from many others.
@SnowBee Hey, I have a question: How do I take away stink?. Is it sorted when I'm in a body of water like lakes, rivers and dams or is it the bathroom I need to repair.
@@SamuelGreenRoad2RecoveryLook for items that you loot, especially check urinals. You can craft items later to "eat" or drink. I don't believe 7D2D has a mechanism like bathing or showering where you can wash off something. So for now you must eat or drink things and use them to remove buffs or debuffs.

Yeah, you generally can never mix overhaul mods. However, a clown pack may work, I just don't know if there is one.

No, that is not there, yet.
It is not that bad with Joke Mod, certainly not like there are many new ingredients outside of vanilla. Mods like UL, DF or AOO have many more components. All three of those mods have broadcasting. Still, it may get it sometime.

That error is caused by using the wrong version of 7days with joke mod

Do you get infected in The Joke Mod.
Yes, and there is stink as well which makes life a bit more difficult if you don't cure it. However, don't worry too much as stink is quite easily cured and once you start picking up how the mod functions, won't be a problem. I still enjoy the concept of "stink", afterall, it is the apocalypse :)
The dev is not someone trying to make life very difficult for you. So, as much as JM has these new features and monsters, Rizzo is not trying to make another Darkness Falls. There are new features and challenges but not downright painful.
