Salta is underrated due to the existence of Iguazu Falls, Patagonia, Mendoza and Buenos Aires.
Can only imagine the beauty these countries offer up and why it’s such a pleasure to follow this journey Morten. To see the stars and galaxies without the pollution in the skies must be something to see

Feeding my drive to travel to South America even more. The scenery in this one was spectacular.
it was great to watch as it allowed me to recall memories of all the places I visited in Aug-Oct last year in North West Argentina, I recognised all the places you went to (Humahuaca, Tilcara, Cafayate,...), fantastic place and lovely friendly people. That sign you're standing next to at 5:50 I also stopped there and took some video from my racing drone.

Argentina has no shortage of stunning landscapes. I highly recommend travelers to visit the main 3 provinces in the Northwest: Salta, Jujuy and Tucumán
Catamarca is also great.

Las serranias del Hornocal pertenecen a San salvador de Jujuy, no a salta!
@@AngelMendoza-qg9bi soy salteña y la verdad que lo que me gusta es que es una ciudad de aprox 700 mil habitantes. A 40 minutos de la capital ya tenés lugares con una naturaleza increíble para pasear.

awesome video dude! I just want to say that from 1:31 to 3:19 is not Salta, is the province called Jujuy, and that mountain of 14 colors is El Hornocal. :)
Absolutely right. It's a shame these two provinces always get mixed up when they have so much to offer in their own way.
I spent some time in this area over 15 years ago. It was so amazing I had to take my wife 12 years ago. Now I need to take my children... and my Sony Alpha.

That mountain of 14 colors it's actually in Jujuy, not in Salta.
You are right. That face of the mountain is on Jujuy's side. The formation is on both sides of the provinces though, but there is no way to get there on Salta's side, and the best views are on Jujuy's side too. It's a shame people keeps confusing these provinces when they are so diferent and they have so much to offer on their own.

Hey Morten,
I assume you’ve been to the first location (colourful mountains) during daytime and nighttime. Wouldn’t it be a surrealistic shot if you’d have taken a Timelapse, then waited for the night and did the exact same shot again, so you could merge the two Timelapses along the mountainline. On the upper half the Milky Way and on the lower half the colourful mountains during daytime? Let me know what you think about that ;-)

Hi, I am from Salta and just watching your vid I remembered the truth about my city, as you have realised, like 90% (or more) of the land is uninhabited. Nobody lives there, you go out of the urban areas and you go kilometres and kilometres of road, green valleys, and mountains where almost nobody lives.
