  • I've never seen a desert so picture perfect as the one in Huacachina, Perú. In this episode I try to get the perfect time-lapse here, as well as go on a short trip to the bird paradise Isla Ballestas.

Morten, I like the addition of people and activities into your VLogs -- just the right amount to complement the beautiful landscapes. And the stills (both at 3:27 and 6:10) are really stunning. I especially like 3:27 as it gives perspective and scale to the shot, which is easily lost in sand dunes. This one could easily be the thumbnail for the final TL. I know VJUS is taking increasingly more of your time, but if you are want to do spectacular dunes, White Sands in New Mexico USA is incredible sand. Pure white. Very fine texture. And the park is closed at night (can pay for a permit to get in early), so one can really have the entire place to oneself.

Morten, this episode is missing from your webpage! Be sure to add it between episode 13 and 15. I wouldn't have noticed except after rainbow mountain you said, "In the next episode we go to the picture perfect desert of Peru". Amazing Work, bro!

Ah how I hated those buggies when I was there ;-) Only in the morning it was calm, but as you say, sunset was usually more colorful. Also the garbadge - It's really bad :-( this could be such a great place if they only decided to switch to a more eco-friendly form of tourism. But this is clearly not the direction there, it's all about fun and party

Unfortunatelly this is bad, that we can't solve, the people doesn't understand that if a place is inmaculated must be kept so. This is a problem that i've been figthing here in México my country. I really hat trash!

Sad about the garbage. But the deserts of Peru, pretty much the whole coast, are amazing, dunes, oasis, beaches, islands, pyramids, mummies, Nazca lines, beaches towns and can’t forget that Lima is also a desert, the second desert city in the world only after Cairo
