guys imagine a pokemon game on switch with graphics that looks like 13:00 and with the storyline of the 3ds pokemon games. Wild pokemons running around the landscape rather than randomly appearing out of the grass.... you can even see an animal in video that looks like tentacool at 13:31 ... this would be a console seller for sure

Nintendo Switch is rather unique console - so small, but so powerful. I don't think no one could have known 10 years ago how far we could go, how far we could push. This is amazing.

I don't care if there are not many titles so far, Zelda looks fucking awesome, I seriously think pokemon will come out for it, the Mario game in the first clip (can't remember the name) also looks awesome as fuck and could maybe bring me back to some Mario games, because the last ones didn't interest me at all.

man, gotta say, even though the switch specs might be lower than xbox and playstation, these games still look more than satisfying and having these adventure type role playing games on the go with you wherever you want is a huge plus for Nintendo. Good job Nintendo!!! you could be in a coffee shop with a friend and bust out the switch and play some old school street fighter using the 2 joycons for 2 players and switch screen as mini tv. Happy i picked one of these bad boys up!

Danny Alvarez yes I know it's a switch exclusive and it can run ue4. But by the time the trailer was released the Switch wasn't out yet. The team didn't have a switch dev kit, so the game was running on PC
I'm most excited for, of course, zelda, but then seasons of heaven, RiME, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Dragon quest, and the sacred hero... Those ones seem like they could be freaking amazing. the other ones are good too, I'm sure many are excited for the sonic games and splatoon 2 as well

One person at random Unfortunately if they were made for PS or Xbox, they basically were made as Zelda clones, so porting them to Nintendo makes very little sense.

breath of the wild sold like 4 million copies. hardly dead lol. I personally don't think nintendo is completely dead. It's far behind microsoft and especially Sony, but I wouldn't count them out just yet in the console game.
I honestly think their portable consoles don't have a longer future than their home consoles. This is mostly because the switch is a very good portable console that can also be a home console.
"dead" is a little dramatic. The WIIU was terrible and Nintendo was definitely "dying", but numbers don't lie and the switch has good ones.
One more thing. Graphics are over-rated imo. Am I the only one that doesn't care so much for like 8k graphics? I like good looking games but I don't think games need super amazing graphics to look amazing. Just my opinion of course.
The Sonic game the 80s generation deserves - Sonic Mania :)
I'm not a fan of milking franchises, but some of Nintendo's games haven't seen daylight for years. Stunt Race FX, Wave Race, 1080 Snowboarding and Pilotwings deserve sequels. A new Legend of the Mystical Ninja (Konami) would be great. A new F-Zero is bound to happen at some point. Eternal Darkness also, but can't say I played the one (and only) on the GameCube. Snowboard Kidz and Blast Corps others. The recently released Puyo Puyo Tetris from SEGA, Baku Baku Animal Tetris would've been a much better choice.

The reason the switch, wii, wiiu dont sell is because kids cant play COD, FIFA, Battlefield and GTA. Sad really. I have just bought a switch and Zelda is the most challenging fun i have had in a while. I forgot how it was to play a game without having my hand held throughout. I spent 2 hours looking for some warm clothes so i didn't freeze to death when i went into the snowy area of the map. Madness! Kids don't know what its like nowadays to play a game and get stuck, very impressed so far i hope more games like zelda get released and none of this mainstream yearly release bullshit. Enough of that on my PS4 its nice to get away from it.

I remember playing games like zelda or resident evil back in the day for hours.. that's what a good and fun video game is for me.. people have forgotten what "beating a game through trial and error" means!
I was having this exact conversation with my younger brother when I realized that he was playing the wind waker and he was relying on google for every little thing, even the easy ones.. I'm like "you are supposed to explore the world... if you google everything you miss half the fun".. then he told me "how the fuck did you play back in the day without walkthroughs?" I was like "idk.. using our brain? x'D".. jokes aside, I think he gets it cause now he's really trying to enjoy the game and explore the world and also trying to rely less on google ;p

Unless it is a game designed exclusively for the Switch I will get it on my PS4 where it will perform better. I have already paid for my Switch in full and will receive it Day 1, but I have seen screenshots and videos for games such as Dragon Quest XI, and know from comparison videos that these games will look better on something like PS4, XBox One and obviously PC. Games like Sonic Mania won't make a difference, but if it is a multi platform game it will definitely take advantage of a more powerful system's hardware capabilities.
Unless it is a game designed exclusively for the PS4 I will get it on my PC where it will perform better

If the game is multi-plat, i would actually consider bying it for the Switch. It's the portability concept that gets me. To me, the graphics is as good as they can get, as I don't have a trained eye to make the difference between regular HD and 4k graphics, anything looks the same to me. But I did prefer getting a game for PS4 over Wii U, because I never liked the gamepad, and if there was a way I could avoid gamepad gaming, i did.
But on the performing part of it, I didn't really notice, unless it was for example a Call of Duty game, which I felt they didn't do ANY effort to port over to the WiiU and you could actually tell the difference, but that's the developers fault, and not the WiiU, because games could look AMAZING on the WiiU, without the super hardware and 4k graphics. But these giant game developers just want to make fast money, and rush a game on a console they didn't feel was worthy their time, but could have looked nice, if they just took some time and actually making it a good port. But if the ports are treated equal, I don't need it to be either PS4, PC or Switch, but I want it for the Switch because I can play third party, AAA games on the go (if they don't abandon the Switch as they did WiiU)
You say crap like that, but really I wouldn't get crap for Xbox One and PS4. At the least Nintendo comes out with inavative games. Just get everything you want on PC if you're worried about graphics...
