- Toontown Rewritten updated the CEO as of recent, and it came out with many new changes that make parts to the fight easier and faster paced. Although, a few other changes have made some parts to the boss more challenging. I give my first impressions on everything that was changed while trying to survive with these new changes.

I thought it would be nice to drop by in 2024 and thank everyone for watching this video and getting it up to 10,000 views. My intentions were to help inform everyone about the changes that were made to TTR's CEO boss when the update first rolled out, and I think I did a good job at doing just that! Feel free to subscribe if you'd like to see more stuff like this, because I love making videos on new content whenever it releases!
One thing that wasn't mentioned is that the dev's programmed many different randomly selected drinks in place of the cogs fine oil, Toon Party Punch is just one, others I've heard about include, Chocolate milk with extra chocolate, Coda Pop musical beverages, Dr. Dimm's super soda, Lickity-Split Lemonade, Creamed Birthday cake, Chewed Bubblegum tea, high sugar silly syrup and an entire can of sugar!
That totally makes sense now when I think about it! It would make more sense for the cogs to drink something toon related instead of their fine oil in order to explode. Cogs can never take a joke, no matter what.
@@Starkler76 The latest update also seems to imply that the developers are coding in additional drink possibilities, including fresh geyser water, wacky watermelon punch, an entire can of chocolate, and shivering shakes from Mr. Sneeze!
@@adamhandley9482 That sounds really appetizing. I'd be down to try some of that stuff.
@@Starkler76 I would too, except the shivering shakes from Mr. Sneeze, they probably caused the cogs to sneeze so much they explode!
To answer your question about what the cogs are doing, V.I.P Corporate Raiders lean and check their watches, while V.I.P Big Cheeses recline in their seats!
That's actually a pretty awesome detail I didn't know. Thank you for telling me that.
The bored cogs are V.I.P. cogs. They have the V.I.P. plaque on the table itself, and do bored animations as opposed to normal sitting ones. They are always 2.0s as opposed to regular cogs.
Also, 2.0s resist the same gag type being used multiple times, like Sound. They also have an enhanced base defense overall. Cupcakes do zero damage on a low level Cold Caller 2.0, it's quite funny.
i love the CEO. ive just started it but have done it 4 times in the last 12 hours. love your vids, do more with field offices that would be great.
great vid to watch before I start my first CEO battle
You should definitely tell me how it went after you finish it!
Recently did a ceo where a toon glitched and was stuck flying around the ceiling. Scary ghost toon had me cracking up, made it harder to play
I wonder where the CEO was aiming his golf balls every time he was aiming for them.
So far what they did to ceo I can tell in lot of ways they made it better not in every way but lot of ways now I would love to see if they would do any changes for other bosses and other changes for ceo in future because they can't just leave us hanging like that but so far they did awesome job I'll give them lot points for doing awesome job like that I'll be looking forward to see what other updates they might do in future I bet it will be awesome :)
I'm sure they'll do some cool things for other bosses in the future!
Every other boss is so easy compared to the old CEO, so I don't think they should adjust the others. But, the update in '21 made CEO pretty easy. In the old CEO with the 'one fog rule', everyone ran out of gags. Pete was used often. But the seltzer round was crazy. Only 2, 6 & 12 damage. Same with the tu snacks--they were half what they are now.
Genuinely enjoy your Toontown Content man! Would love to meet you in game one day!
I appreciate that. I'm sure we'll meet someday!
Never gone sad
You've got the skills.
If you get a corner table it's easy to do. I can multitoon and not get hit on both toons. Only thing that may get me is the gear attack
I got annihilated today. Had no idea you could hide behind the tables
Jump on someone else's table so they can squirt seltzer directly at you. Anyone would be happy to give you seltzer tu!
I enjoy your TTR Content man!! Would love to meet up in game sometime 🤙🏽
I for one would like to see the original as a hard mode and the dumbed down version as an easy/normal mode.
I know. The '21 update is waaay too easy.
Another thing to know when fighting the CEO is when he says "Fore" and when you aren't on the table get on the table and he will miss.
Golfing is good
Slowing the ceo
I still quite don't understand the changes/updates. Can someone explain please?
Does this game still have a good playerbase for returning players from OG toontown?
It definitely does! There's usually around 2000 players online every day. That may not seem like many, but it's definitely enough to make some friends and progress through the game.
Also, the game is free to play, which is nice.
@@Starkler76 sweet ive just redownloaded so looking to get back into it. Love this game!
When I tried it it really wasn't anything new to me
ive spent my whole life until today thinking that the ceos hat was a wig.
Hey, you never know. It might be a wig. o.o
Ttr might add the 2.0 resistance
That sounds interesting.
I’ve never gone sad in the ceo
I did my first CEO yesterday and went sad. Just to be told I was garbage by the room host while refilling my gags. 😂
It’ll be okay man. Be sure to tell me how your first successful run goes!
@@Starkler76 just finished a successful run!
That room was so nice and the host this time walked me through instead of calling me trash at the game 🤣
@@XxPeriCo27xX Sometimes all you need is a good team with some proper guidance and everything works out. This applies to more than just Toontown. Congrats on your first run! 🎉
wait they removed the chairman reference?
The C.E.O. Still says the Chairman won't like this when he get demoted. Other than that, I'm not sure if there is another reference or not.
I feel like the difficulty of the first, very long cog battle was pretty perfectly dialed in, but it seems like the changes they made kept a solid balance.
BUT the changes to the waiter round incentives you to actually play amd means your actions have consequences for the next round. And the CEO battle just feels less tedious, which is very good.
Level 8 Gags
Toon up: Cog Punch Bag
Trap: Tornado
Lure: Treasure
Sound: Chalkboard
Throw: Bomb
Squirt: Tsunami
Drop: Meteor
Interesting concepts. Although, I think level 7 gags are already strong enough.
@@Starkler76 well, there are already lvl 13 in the field offices, maybe they will start to carry out those cogs to fight or maybe even make stronger cogs? sounds interesting though.
@@Lyrimash and if you keep the level 13 around they will get to 18 or bigger ive done a field office and let them get big because someone needed 18+ cogs and we got them like 6 of them. try it sometime it makes it interesting.
Wow they nerfed this fight hard
Mostly it came from clash lol
Sigh this update ruined the game for me. If they want to make rewritten more like corporate clash they could at least make it so some districts have these updates that break the game’s original goal and some that do it the way before.
Things will definitely change even more when the "Under New Management" update rolls out. No one will ever need to do Factories, Mints, Offices, or Cog Golf Courses ever again.
@@Starkler76 Shame rewritten is just copying corperate clash. You're against this stuff too?
Most people consider TTR to be the closest version of the game that Disney was running at the time. Therefore, most fans expect TTR to expand and update in the same way Disney would have done for it, as if the original game was still around. I'm personally not a fan of them copying the Corporate Clash style, as it takes away from the original charm of TTO.
I love Corporate Clash for the way it is too, but I don't want TTR following in those same footsteps, if that makes sense.
@@Starkler76 Yeah and that's what TTR is doing with this updater among countless others.
@@4Corry a bit of change and new content is good, they don't have to keep it strictly like old toontown.
