- This Act 7 Gwenperion was the best place to test Professor X's Maximum damage potential because others die before that. Gwenperion has some weird nodes, basically, she has 99% energy resistance and regenerates all damage from energy attacks + heals fully in every 20 seconds.

This Act 7 Gwenperion was the best place to test Professor X's Maximum damage potential because others die way before that. So Gwenperion has some weird nodes, basically, she has 99% energy resistance and regenerates all damage from energy attacks + heals fully in every 20 seconds. So I can freely build up prowesses no worrying that she would die. Professor X stopped gaining prowess from sp.1 when he reached 99 prowess (so that is limit) but he could still gain them from Sp.3s. BTW he can kill her way faster just that was not this video's aim. If you want to kill her fast build around 40 Prowess use sp.3 then don't use sp.2 that you already have after sp.3 but build up a power back to sp.3 in seconds which will kill her. Or just use mutant power boost and sp.3 would give you another sp.3 immediately.

If she has 99% energy resistance does this mean prefessor x was doing 99% less damage since all his attacks are energy?
@@gamingarts576 Sp.3s is not affected by that. Also critical hits bypass resistance to some extent, but non critical hits yeah barely was doing any damage.

@@BeroMan Oh ok, that makes sense as to why when you were at 100 prowess your sp1 was dealing 8k but when it crit you did like 147k

The damage was so severe at 102 prowess, it was impossible to heal from energy damage if the initial hit already erases all hp lol

@@Kravatan yeah, I almost had him down, but got clipped by an SP1 while using BG's Void strat. Had the perfect setup and everything, then I get clipped by that and got the unlucky 30% chance that it'd stun. I've got Red Guardian, but he's only R3 right now
@@sams-hx7hm Ah dam. Well atleast void was working for you, void is who I used and he did alright. Red Guardian could hopefully dent him. Gl man. The fight would be so much easier if special delivery wasn't in play
@@Kravatan tbh special delivery isn't the problem for me. it's the cash-grab node of strength in numbers. meaning that if void died, then I couldn't try using Red Guardian safely until I revived Void. If it's not for cash, why does that node even exist?

At 100 prowess SP2 red numbers without 99% energy resistance would be 96200*3 = 288600.
Didn't bother with the yellow numbers because of energy resistance. My estimate is that with 100 prowess Prof X can easily surpass 1mil damage from SP2 (If energy resistance is ignored)

i dont understand how prof X works to gain prowless and refresh duration?
i have him 5-65
You gain prowess in multiple ways,
1. Heavy charging cancel throw special.
2. after special, cancel channeling by either blocking, light or medium wiff attack.
3. special 1 gives 1 prowess and I think special 3 gives 5 prowess (Need to check that)
For refreshing prowess,
in 2nd point, after special, cancel channeling by dashing back.
