I love that she didn't chose to play a more "pop" sounding song on a television show
(even though I don't consider this album a pop album anyway, but some songs on it are certainly more mainstream friendly)

Bravo to a Willow and all the members of this killer band! There are now artists who are doing the same thing, as you say: “playing for the sake of the music.” I would add Ren, AURORA, Dirty Loops, Lawrence and Jacob Collier among some others. They are not afraid to make empathic, intelligent music that is challenging both to the heart and to the mind. After years of despairing for popular music, I am again inspired as I was in the sixties and seventies!
