- Smart Vision Glass (SVG) helps people with visual impairment understand the world through sound. This is a portable, light-weight spectacle that comes with a variety of functionalities such as detecting objects in the pathway; reading texts in multiple Indian languages; recognising faces etc
No doubt, SVG device is wonderful. I feel few things can be improved....
1) instead of connecting it with mobile hotspot, it must have built in network system. Just like GPS system of our cars. They have very less network issue.
2) It should have an ear plug, as in crowded places voice on speaker may not be audible.
3) It must have rechargable and replaceable battery system. Once battery is exhausted, person must be able to swap the battery and continue using device.
4) This device should be connected to AI and Machine learning. So as to collect the data from users and making necessary changes in next upgrade.
5) It must have a Remote, instead of having switches on Temporal region, it becomes more comfortable to use with remote.

To address your 1st, 3rd and 4th points, the latest version of our device directly plugs into the USB C port on your mobile, so it doesn't need a battery of it's own, and is connected to the internet via your phone, so it doesn't require a WiFi hotspot. And our device uses AI and Machine Learning algorithm to personalize and improve the User Experience.
We are continuously working to make a better product, and will definitely consider your other valuable suggestions sir.

Very useful,is it available at aravind eye hospital coimbatore
Then why didn't Dr. Saravanan at Aravind, Coimbatore sent my nephew back as we visited him about a hopeless surgery?? We went there in September 2022.
It was very disappointing travelling all the way from Cochin just to hear Dr. Saravanan's words as if he doesn't believe in science.
